The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders visited the Howl-O-Scream haunted house at Busch Gardens and they wore their uniforms (pom-poms and all). The lovely cheerleaders made their way through the spooky attraction and were screaming at the top of their lungs. I suggest watching it with the sound off, unless you’re one of those creeps that enjoys the sound of women being absolutely terrified. One would think that the Tampa Bay Cheerleaders wouldn’t scare easily since they have to watch the fright fest that is the 0-5 Buccaneers every week. [Guyism] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Darrelle Revis now owns rights to popular nickname

No, Darrelle Revis didn’t buy an actual island and name it after himself. I mean, that would be incredibly narcissistic, and nobody in the NFL is like that, especially Revis. But he is in great position to benefit financially, now…Read more →

Fantasy Perspective: Tim Wright – The Next Best TE

Not even a satisfying Snickers will not cure right now for the 0-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  When the team drafted tight end Luke Stocker in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, he was expected to fill the pass catching void vacated by Kellen Winslow Jr., but instead Stocker totaled one TD, 28 receptions in 30 games and never averaged over 10.3 yards per game during his tenure. ...

Bucs G Carl Nicks has surgery on MRSA-infected left foot

TAMPA, Fla. -- Guard Carl Nicks, dealing with a MRSA-infected left foot, underwent surgery Tuesday to try to improve the condition, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano said Wednesday. A timetable for the two-time Pro Bowl player's return is unknown. Schiano said Nicks, 28, "got an opinion outside of town" and opted for surgery Tuesday night. Nicks had limited participation...

Bucs' G Carl Nicks has surgery to get rid of MRSA

One of three members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers diagnosed with MRSA has had surgery to get rid of the staph infection. MRSA is difficult to treat because it's resistant to many common antibiotics. Carl Nicks had surgery Tuesday night and coach Greg Schiano said the guard is doing well. The two-time All-Pro was diagnosed as having MRSA in a blister of the left side of his foot...

MRSA Hits the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a really rough season thus far. With a record of 0-5, a head coach on the hot seat, AND their supposed “franchise” quarterback traded away, the Bucs can’t really afford to have too many distractions. But they do…a big and nasty one. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (trust me, it is a lot harder to pronounce than it is to spell...

Bucs’ Carl Nicks has surgery

The worse keeps getting worse for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The latest? Bucs’ guard Carl Nicks had surgery on his foot to remove the MRSA strain that reappeared last week.  The Bucs have not confirmed it, but according to Jenna Laine of Sports Talk Florida, Nicks had the operation Tuesday to “clean out the infection in his toe, according to a league source.” General Manager...

Buccaneers cheerleaders scream through haunted Busch Gardens (Video)

Last weekend, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders took a trip to Busch Gardens to partake in their Howl-o-Scream festivities. The Bucs cheerleaders take this trip every year, and the outing usually consists of a lot of running around and screaming. This year was no exception, and if this video can't get you into the spirit of Halloween, nothing can. Visit us at...

Struggling Schiano, Bucs searching for answers

The losses are mounting and the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers are running out of explanations for why their season has gone sour and what they can to do to turn it around. A 31-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles dropped the Bucs to 0-5, and the team has dropped 10 of 11 dating to last year. The offense has struggled to score points, and an improved defense has been unable to protect...

This Weekend in NFL Fan Fights: Bucs Get a Win in the Stands Not on the Field

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUsgGFdF_-M The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a rough week. First the MRSA story, then losing to the Eagles in quite frankly a game they should have won. If it’s any consolation the Bucs did get one win on Sunday, but it was in the stands. Check out the video at 1:35. Things get real with some punches connecting.

Greg Schiano says he will cooperate regarding leak

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano had little to add when asked to respond to a USA Today report published Saturday that suggests the NFLPA thinks he's the source of Josh Freeman's leaked medical information. Schiano said "We as an organization look forward to cooperating with the NFL and the NFLPA" after the Bucs' 31-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles...

Jason Peters, Patrick Chung, Chris Polk dealing with shoulder injuries

Michael Vick's hamstring will be the biggest injury to watch this week but there are three other injuries to monitor from Sunday's 31-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tackle Jason Peters safety Patrick Chung and running back Chris Polk all have shoulder injuries. Chung and Polk left the game early and did not return. Kelly said those three will not be full participants...
