It might not be the sexiest pick of the litter, but the Quarterback battle I’m interested in seeing the most is with the Cleveland Browns and their battle between Colt McCoy(for now), Brandon Weeden and Seneca Wallace. After drafting Weeden with the 22nd pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, word around the league was that the Browns would be shopping McCoy. It looks like they’re going to have to wait until another team has a QB go down to injury before they’re able to unload him. So for now, it’s a 3-way battle. Weeden should come in as the favorite after McCoy lost the starting job to Wallace at the end of last season. Wallace wasn’t able to do much with the QB reigns as he went 0 and 4 with a completion percentage of 51.4. At age 28, Weeden isn’t the typical kind of rookie. With the Browns giving up a first round pick to draft him, they must believe that he’ll be able to start either this year or next year. It may just be Weeden’s job to loose. After a couple pre-season games we’ll see if he’s ready to start in the NFL...
