According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, there's a real chance that troubled linebacker Rolando McClain might be released by the Baltimore Ravens.
Citing that everyone deserves a second chance, Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta explained their reasoning for signing McClain on Monday, who was arrested yet again, this time for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, after signing with the team last month.
But one thing about second chances - they don't come with any guarantees: literally, figuratively and financially. Which is why Baltimore signed him to one-year, $700,000 contract with absolutely no guarantees. Cutting him will be no problem.
There's still a real chance the #Ravens end up moving on from Rolando McClain. They protected themselves salary-wise. No guaranteed money.
