The Patriots have released Shawn Crable, the team just announced. No, seriously, this time, they meant it.
The 2008 third-round pick, who had a half a sack in the win over the Steelers, is looking for a job once again. He played in six games and had four tackles and a sack.
Crable was released before camp because he failed a physical, making one think his promising career was over. Then, he was re-signed to the practice squad, then promoted.
He was starting to contribute in the sub package, only to be cut today. Odd. But with Crable, nothing makes sense…
