With his third pick in the second round, Ted Thompson and the Packers took Patrick Lee, a cornerback from Auburn. Lee, a 6 foot cornerback, ran a 4.41 40-yard dash and did 15 reps at 225 pounds on the bench press. The Packers needed a cornerback on the first day of the draft. Al Harris and Charles Woodson are aging and new blood needs to be brought in for the future. Lee is a great natural athlete.
