For the second preseason game in a row, Michael Vick’s night was ended after six snaps. This time around, Vick took a hard shot to the ribs while trying to scramble away from a defender. The good news is that x-rays turned out to be negative so it looks like he’ll only be experiencing some soreness.
Nick Foles was the highlight of the night yet again. He came in after Vick headed to the locker room and found some success working with the rest of the starters. However, his favorite target was tight end Clay Harbor who recorded two touchdown receptions.
Foles did a good job of spreading the ball around and had a very nice touchdown drive to begin the second half where he drove the Eagles 80 yards in just under four minutes.
LeSean McCoy got to touch the ball a bit more than he did in the first game and looked pretty good. DeSean Jackson also had some nice plays, including a WWE type tackle on an interception that Foles threw.
