Let's talk about Michael Vick for a minute. Recently he's taken a lot of criticism. Some of that is absolutely warranted. Some is silly hyperbole. Let's stick with what we actually know.
Vick exploded on the scene earlier in the year. Teams were caught off guard by his ability as a runner and passer. This was a version of Vick that had never been seen before. Add in the fact that no one had tape of him running our offense and you can see where defenses struggled to handle him. About midseason, teams began to throw exotic looks at Vick. That had a definite effect on him. His first turnover of the season came in the first game with the Giants (fumble). The next week the Bears got him to fumble 4 times. Mike didn't lose any of them, but did throw his first INT. Since then he's thrown at least 1 INT in each game and lost a pair of fumbles against Minnesota.
