Chancellor, Browner, Lynch Added to Pro-Bowl Roster On Monday, the NFC added starting Seattle Seahawks CB Brandon Browner, and Safety Kam Chancellor to their Pro-Bowl roster for the upcoming NFL all-star game. On Tuesday, another Seahawks player was added as well, RB Marshawn Lynch will be going as well as well as previously named players FB Michael Robinson, and Safety Earl Thomas. This marks the fourth time that the Seahawks have sent five players to the annual all-star game, which takes place this Sunday.
Here’s a breakdown of each of the players stats for the season, and what it means for the Seahawks to have them represent them in Hawaii.
Marshawn Lynch Marshawn Lynch led the Seahawks with 1,204 yards rushing this season, good enough for 7th in the league. With 12 touch downs, Lynch was only behind LeSean McCoy who had 17 on the year. 2007 was a good year! 6 Seahawks made the trip. Lynch was undoubtedly the highlight of the Seahawks offense this year, returning a proud organization to the running game glory years of the past. Michael Robinson Michael Robinson gave the Seahawks the power full-back position this season. A position that has sorely been missed since the abrupt retirement of All World FB Mack Strong a few years ago. The backfield duo gives fans something to reminisce, going back to the glory years of the Strong-Alexander days, and even back to the old silver and blue days of John L. Williams and Curt Warner. Brandon Browner CB Brandon Browner was 4th in the league in interceptions this year with 6, two of which he returned for touchdowns. Browner added 54 tackles for the defense as well this past season. Browner, along with Chancellor, and Thomas led a very impressive secondary for the Seahawks this past season. Kam Chancellor Kam Chancellor had 75 tackles to go along with 4 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles. The second year player out of Virginia Tech is a huge part of the Seahawks young secondary that will be very well show-cased in Hawaii come Sunday. 2005 Saw 7 Seattle Seahawks make it to Hawaii Earl Thomas The Safety showed up his rookie performance with a nod to the this years pro-bowl. Earl Thomas once again was a huge part of the Seahawks defense, recording 98 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a forced fumble. Thomas got better in every defensive category during his second season in the NFL except for interceptions, which were down by 3.
But luckily for the Seahawks, Chancellor and Browner were there to pick up the slack.
This year’s Seahawks Pro-Bowl players show the fans just what this team has to offer in the future. All of these guys are still on the upswing of their careers, and should have a lot more bright spots for the Seattle Seahawks. One of Rice’s shoulders had a torn labrum and the other we’re not positive what the injury was. Once bitten, Seahawks twice shy with first-round quarterbacks

The Seahawks have chosen two quarterbacks in the previous seven drafts combined. The Colts, Cowboys and Jaguars are the only teams that have picked fewer, but that's part of a larger trend in Seattle where it has been 19 years since the Seahawks chose Rick Mirer with the second pick of the 1993 draft. There have been 208 quarterbacks drafted into the NFL since then, 44 of them...

My Absolutely Favorite Seattle Seahawks Touchdown of 2011

Beast Mode Back Again On a Thursday night, on national tv, against an opponent that ESPN, and the NFL Network said the Seattle Seahawks shouldn’t beat, Marshawn Lynch gave a friendly reminder to America that Beast Mode was alive and well in the pacific northwest. I chose this play, instead of the 40 yarder in the same game, because it shows the determination of Lynch that...
