There’s any number of statistics heading into tonight’s Monday Night Match-up with the Kansas City Chiefs that scare the crap right out of me and now here’s another one; Since the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1994 AFC Wild-Card Playoffs in overtime, the teams have alternated wins every game since. That would be a total of ten games with the Steelers winning five and the Chiefs winning five and who won the most recent head-to-head match-up? The Steelers did, 13-9 last year in Kansas City. So yes the Chiefs haven’t led in regulation all season. So yes the Chiefs starting QB Matt Cassel is 3-0 on Monday Night Football. So yes Romeo Crennel has removed himself as the defensive coordinator. So yes the Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the league at 1-7. Bah! Those don’t matter to me one stinking bit because the Chiefs rank third in the NFL in rushing and even though we have the top defense in the league right now, we’ve obviously shown at times we can be g...

ESPN Uses Drink And Drunk Graphic For Ben Roethlisberger Instead Of Dink And Dunk

The graphic department for ESPN certainly made an error tonight as the below graphic was used that showed ROETHLISBERGER with the words "DRINKANDDRUNK" underneath it. Obviously it was meant to say Dink And Dunk for the offense run by Ben Roethlisberger, instead of Drink And Drunk. The network quickly had it changed. ESPN will likely issue an apology of sorts at some...

Roethlisberger’s Injury Could Change the Landscape of the Steelers Season

According to Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a sprained SC joint in his shoulder. That injury is considered to take as few as a couple days to as many as 4-6 weeks to heal depending on the severity of the injury. ”He is being evaluated,” Tomlin said. ”Obviously this injury puts his participation in the questionable category...

Big Ben suffers ESPN graphics snafu

Well, this is one of the more unfortunate snafus we've ever featured.  Instead of a segment about Ben Roethlisberger's short passing game "Dink and Dunk", ESPN labelled it in their rundown as "Roethlisberger Drink and Drunk."  Unlucky mistake or not-so-subtle dig at Roethlisberger's checkered past?  Whatever the case, Chris Berman had to come on...

Steelers Injury Report: Roethlisberger Right Shoulder Injury, Clark Has A Concussion

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media following the overtime win Monday night over the Kansas City Chiefs. Tomlin updated the injuries after his opening and he said that safety Ryan Clark is being evaluated for a concussion. The coach said that he doesn't have definitive information on that at this time as it happened so late in the game. Quarterback...

Steelers Injury Report: Antonio Brown Out For a Few Games

You probably already expected Antonio Brown to be out on Monday against the Kansas City Chiefs.  However, it turns out Brown will likely miss more than this week's game.  It seems as if the Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver will miss a few games. According to Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, Brown is expected to miss a few games due to his ankle injury. ...

Report: Ben Roethlisberger Has A Separated Shoulder

Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reports that two sources have informed him that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger suffered a separated shoulder during Monday night’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs. “There’s a lot to be figured out and we probably won’t know anything definitive until the morning, but that’s what the [Steelers] team doctor said,” according to Cole’s source...

Report: Roethlisberger’s Shoulder Injury is “Serious” and “Complicated”

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a “serious” shoulder injury. (AP) Per a tweet from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a shoulder injury that is “serious” and “complicated.” The Steelers are keeping decidedly hush-hush regarding the status of their 2-time Super Bowl...

Nothing But Speculation Still On Ben Roethlisberger Shoulder Injury

The rumors have been swirling about the severity of the right shoulder injury suffered Monday night by Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The usually reliable John Clayton of ESPN reported Tuesday morning that there isn't anything official as of yet but he's getting the feeling that Roethlisberger's injury...

Steelers Choose Not to Add Extra Wide Receiver for Monday Night

The Steelers were expected to add a fourth wide receiver for their match-up with the Kansas City Chiefs to replace the injured Antonio Brown. Brown has already been ruled out of the game with an ankle injury which leaves the Steelers with only three healthy receivers on the roster. When the final roster was announced the Steelers decided to only keep four receivers because none of...

Steelers Injury Report: Rashard Mendenhall, Antonio Brown, Jonathan Dwyer

As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be without wide receiver Antonio Brown and safety Troy Polamalu during tonight’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, while running backs Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey are probable to play. After sustaining what he called a minor high ankle sprain last weekend against the New York Giants, Brown did not practice at all this week...

Ben Roethlisberger leaves Heinz Field with his arm in a sling

According to ESPN’s Rick Reilly, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was seen leaving Heinz Field tonight with his arm in a sling. Asked Roethlisberger as he was leaving how bad his shoulder was. He just shook his head. Was wearing sling on right shoulder. Left w/ wife. — Rick Reilly (@ReillyRick) November 13, 2012 Big Ben has reportedly left the stadium to get his injured...

Steelers Midseason Report Card

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won three straight games and have reached the midpoint of the season at 5-3.    Ben Roethlisberger is having one of his finest seasons and is the team MVP of the first half. He is currently the best third down quarterback in the league. I give Big Ben an A+ for the way he’s taken to Todd Haley’s offense.   Offensive Player of the Midseason...
