The Cleveland Browns have a abundance of quarterbacks coming into camp this season. With drafting Brandon Weeden in the first round of the NFL draft the Cleveland fans are thinking Weeden could move into the starting role. With that being said it is no secret Seneca Wallace doen’t want to be the third string Q.B.. Wallace is one guy who has been vocal about not riding the bench even though he should have been use to it by now his tenth year in the NFL. There are three reason the Browns should release Wallace, the three reasons are simple. He started in the last three games of the 2011 season and could not get the Browns a win. Why should Wallace get to stay and run his mouth about him being the guy to mentor Brandon Weeden? Wallace has never been the guy. He is a weak back-up NFL quarterback at best. His dis-like of Colt McCoy has been clear to see. Wallace refused to help McCoy last season even though it may have lead to the Browns being a better football team. Wallace is a guy who...

Browns Fans Ask Yourselves one Question, Is Brandon Weeden Really The Answer?

We all know the Cleveland Browns drafted Brandon Weeden in the first round of the NFL draft. What we don’t know is, will Weeden perform at a level in the NFL to produce a winner in Cleveland? Brandon Weeden is a tough guy, he can deal with pain and play through it. Weeden played an entire season in College with a ruptured tendon in his right (throwing) thumb. Weeden showed he is...

Trent Richardson Laughs at Jim Brown “Situation”

I laugh at the situation. You don’t know me from spic to span. But he’s Jim Brown. He’s done a lot here and I haven’t done anything yet. I have a lot to accomplish and big shoes to fill. When it comes down to it, I have to work and make sure I make him a believer. I haven’t done anything yet. He has his own thoughts. That’s him being him. I have no problem with it...

ESPN: Improved 2012 Browns are still a 4-win team

Vegas isn’t very impressed with the Browns, and now ESPN’s John Clayton is echoing the sentiments. Clayton doesn’t doubt that Weeden, Richardson and Mitch Schwartz will come in and start. He also recognizes the addition of Brad Childress to the coaching staff. In the end, it isn’t enough for the Browns to make what Mike Holmgren refers to as a “big jump” in the record...

Trent Richardson responds to Jim Brown’s criticism ‘I laugh at that situation’

Jim Brown, the greatest running back in Cleveland Browns and arguably NFL history, has expressed on two occasions that he does not think highly of Trent Richardson, who was drafted third overall by the team in April. Richardson finally responded to Brown’s criticism. “He has his own thoughts. That’s him being him,” Richardson said earlier this month, according to ESPN...

Getty Images Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is out to prove former Browns great Jim Brown wrong, after he called him an “ordinary” running back after this year’s draft. “I laugh at the situation,” Richardson told ESPN.com. “You don’t know me from spic to span. But he’s Jim Brown. He’s done a lot here and I haven’t done anything yet. I have a...

Jim Brown has never been shy about giving his opinion, and he most certainly hasn't been shy about voicing his reservations with the Browns' 2012 first round pick, Trent Richardson. Richardson isn't one to back down either, telling ESPN's Jamison Hensley, "He has his own thoughts. That’s him being him,” Richardson said. “I have no problem with it. I just...

For one day, Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden returned to his baseball roots. Sitting in Cleveland's dugout before the game, Weeden said he hadn't thrown...

Browns Rookie RB Trent Richardson Intends To Make Jim Brown 'A Believer'

As the greatest running back in NFL history, Jim Brown perhaps has an unreasonably high standard for excellence. Just before April's draft, the Cleveland Browns’ legend was bold enough to say Trent Richardson—whom his former team ended up selecting No. 3 overall—had "ordinary" talent for the position. Given a chance to fire back a bit at the franchise legend via...

Trent Richardson Shrugs Off Criticism From Jim Brown, Plans to 'Make Him a Believer'

Admittedly, most running backs pale in comparison to the legendary Jim Brown, a fact that is assumedly not lost on the man himself. But he has seemingly gone out of his way to criticize Trent Richardson, the Browns' fourth overall pick this year, all throughout the offseason. Richardson, however, has decided to take the high road and just laugh the criticisms off, according to...

Stewart wins suit, earns NFL pension

Andrew Stewart earned a rare victory against the NFL pension plan this week as a federal judge ruled officials "abused their discretion" in denying the Cleveland Browns defensive lineman disability benefits.
