The New England Patriots came into the season with all new receivers and a lot of doubters.  I was one that expected Brady and the Hoodie to overcome those odds and put together another great season.  I hope this game is the exception. - Step 1 - The Patriots receivers are terrible.  I know Edelman had some catches but, overall this group is bad. - Step 2 - Danny Amendola is made of glass.  I said he wouldn't last 16 games I feel even better about that prediction now.   I don't want to see the guy get hurt, but his inability to stay healthy is shocking. - Step 3 - Zac Sudfeld.  Where to start.  The 6'-7" TE was supposed to step into Gronk's shoes and have a breakout game.  He had one target.  How in the world can you have one target as the top TE in a Patriots offense? I don't know what to take from this game.  The Pats opened the season with a shocking loss to the Bills a few years back and they ended up with a fine season.  I hope that the Pats get th...

  • It's way to early to evaluate receivers. But someone needs to get it in gear Thursday, with Vareen out. Rex will stack the line and try to take the run away and let Brady try to hit confused, inexperienced receivers down field.Amendola will get doubled where ever he goes. Thomkins will need to get on the same page as Brady or it's going to be a long, low scoring night. In that type of game the Jets can do well. This game has to be won by the defense and again the foot of our kicker.Sad state of affairs for this offense.

New England Patriots look to cure what’s ailing them.

In a shortened week many doubt the New England Patriots chances against the New York Jets, and rightly so. The Patriots were awful on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. But what people are failing to mention is that the Patriots still led the Bills in almost every statistical category. In the end New England shot itself in the foot and those are things that can be corrected.   The...

Josh Boyce, Kenbrell Thompkins Have to Step Up For Patriots on Thursday Against Jets With Injuries Plaguing Offense

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots did a nice job of avoiding catastrophic injuries during the summer, but some nagging ailments have created holes in the depth chart on offense. It’s unlikely Danny Amendola suits up on Thursday night when the Jets come to town due to a reaggravated groin injury. Zach Sudfeld may not be a go after tweaking his hamstring against the Bills and Shane...

Week 1 Risers and Fallers

Risers: Danny Amendola (WR) - Without question, Amendola was the star of the game.  He followed up an off-season of swirling doubt with a gutsy game for the ages.  One game may not be enough to quell all of the doubts surrounding Welker 2.0, but there's not a fan in Patriots nation who didn't like Amendola's first impression. Julian Edelman (WR) - Brady'...

Tim Tebow Offered Contract, Chance to ‘Earn Millions’ by Arena League Team Owned by Rock Band KISS

Tim Tebow doesn’t have a job right now, but he isn’t exactly short on job offers. One NFL team apparently contacted him about changing positions, but the former Broncos and Jets quarterback doesn’t seem interested...

Brady still has Bills' number after 23-21 win

Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel and the new-look Buffalo Bills opened the season with a familiar lament. No matter how many times the Bills retool their roster, they almost always find a way to lose to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. ''Obviously, Tom Brady is a great quarterback and is going to go into the Hall of Fame,'' Manuel said. ''But at the end...
