Tiki Barber was once on top of the world. A running back who was admired by the media despite rampant fumbling and teammate back-biting. A lucrative post-football career in broadcasting. Sadly, even those things can be derailed by persistent ****** behavior as well as cheating on your wife with a 23-year-old intern who works at your company. Nowadays, Tiki is broke and willing to do just about anything for money. You name it, no matter how degrading. Play in your flag football game for two grand? You got it. Just name the park. You’re getting Tiki Barber—the NY Giants all-time leading rusher and owner of one of the greatest names in the history of names—for your next game of flag football. Or basketball. Or kickball. Or pretty much whatever sport/gentlemanly activity you can think of. Because having a three-time Pro Bowl-er on your team definitely qualifies as a Perk. Ufford recently had Tiki on as his guest for the first edition of his NFL podcast, UFFSIDES. According to Ufford, th...

  • He deserves all the bad karma he gets. He stabbed his team mates in the back when he retired, and it was so fitting that they won Super Bowl XLII after he was gone. Then he stabbed his PREGNANT wife in the back by leaving her for a younger woman when she was fairly close to full term. He sucked as a sports caster and now he has nothing to fall back on...so he deserves everything he gets.

Rookie Rueben Randall catching on with Giants

The New York Giants went into the season with a huge question mark at the number three wide receiver position. The departure of Super Bowl hero Mario Manningham, who left via free agency for San Francisco, opened the door of opportunity for one of the Giants young receivers.  Wideouts Ramses Barden, Domenik Hixon and Rueben Randall all would get a chance to prove themselves to...

Tom Couglin Calls Out Eli Manning’s Play: “Terrible” “Foolish”

Per a report for the New York Daily News Gary Myers, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was so frustrated with his 2-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning that he used “terrible” and “foolish” to describe instances where Manning should have protected the ball better versus trying to make a play. Coughlin typically generalizes his criticism publicly, rarely singling...

Phil Simms Says Eli Manning, Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts Are Not Elite Quarterbacks

The word “elite” get thrown around in football a lot, but no one really knows what it refers to. Does it mean that player is currently Top 5 among their position? Does it mean they’re Top 10 at their position all time? Or does it mean that they’re a future hall of famer? To Phil Simms, it may be an even higher honor. Simms created some controversy on Monday when he said that...

Victor Cruz Attends 9th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

The salsa man, Victor Cruz(New York Giants)was spotted at the 9th annual  CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards  here in NYC. For the fashion forward event, Victor elected for a formal look, clothed in a sharp flint grey suit, balanced with a printed necktie and suede oxford shoes. I love how Victor detailed his blazer jacket with a rose brooch, putting the finishing touches on a smooth...

They have a brutal schedule upcoming, as they host Green Bay, New Orleans, and Philadelphia and go to Washington, Atlanta, and Baltimore. Fantasy or Reality: Kicker Value and Dangerous Dez

Kickers don’t matter. Fantasy. As everyone who has played fantasy football is aware, the difference between a win and a loss is often just a couple of points and sometimes a fraction of a point. Every year there is one kicker that rises above the rest. Last year, Akers finished ahead of all kickers with 166 total points (actual points not fantasy points), thirty-four more points...
