Found April 10, 2013 on State of the Texans:
Congratulations to #TeamDEC client Tim Dobbins on agreeing to terms on a new one year contract with @houstontexans#bullsonparade — David Canter (@davidcanter) April 10, 2013   The Houston Texans have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker, Tim Dobbins. Dobbins returns to the Texans for his third season with the team and he has been a special teams captain for the past two seasons. One of the unsung players of the Texans roster Dobbins is 30 years old and has appeared in 29 games (Started 6) since joining the team in 2011. Dobbins is a key piece for the special teams unit and did a decent job of filling in at inside linebacker when Brian Cushing went out with a torn ACL. Dobbins posted 43 total tackles with 4 pass deflections and one interception in 2012. He was slowed late in the season with an ankle injury that landed him on the injured reserve. Bringing back Dobbins gives the Texans four inside linebackers under contract for the team with Brian Cushing, Darryl Sharpton and Mike Mohamed.
