Tim Tebow’s future with the New York Jets, or any other NFL team, may be a bigger question after he spoke to a crowd of more than 10,000 evangelical Christian students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. “In the end, football is just a silly game. Greatness comes from serving,” Tebow said. Tebow’s comments should be taken into context given his religious beliefs and the audience that he was speaking to. But the timing may send the wrong message to coaches, managers and owners.
