FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots held a scrimmage for Tom Brady‘s 36th birthday. The Patriots quarterback participated in just two drives, throwing touchdowns to Danny Amendola in both. Tim Tebow and Ryan Mallett were the stars of the show on Saturday. Tebow continues to struggle with inconsistency, though. He’ll throw one pass in the dirt, another 10 yards deep into the side line and then he’ll hit a wide receiver perfectly down the sideline. Tebow was working well with rookies Josh Boyce and Quentin Sims, but rarely looked Aaron Dobson‘s way. To hear more about the scrimmage watch NESN.com’s Patriots writers Doug Kyed and Luke Hughes discuss the practice session.
