Pro Football Zone:
New York Jets back up quarterback Tim Tebow is currently in the process of trademarking the phrase “tebowing.”
Newsday first reported that one of seven trademarks Tebow filed for, using the term, was published for opposition Oct. 9. After a 30-day period granted in case there are objections, Tebow will be closer to being an owner of the mark.
“In the seven filings, Tebow says intended uses for the word “Tebowing” are to connect it with everything from sales of hats and shirts to even toy guns and pantyhose,” wrote ESPNNewYork.com.
Even though Tebow doesn’t want to make money off of the trademark, he could lose it if he doesn’t prove that he plans on using it for business purposes.
BEST OF MAXIM
How there hasn’t been more of a run on Tim Tebow Halloween costumes is crazy. You would think Tebow bros everywhere would be all over this costume. It’s simple, relatively cheap and allows them to pay homage to their godly hero. There are a few we could scrounge up but this post is a call to action more than anything. When you’re out at Halloween parties or bars and you see...
PAY FOR PRAY
The man responsible for launching the 'Tebowing' craze will now be the only one who is able to profit from it now as well.
Back in preseason, I suggested that quarterback Tim Tebow would make an excellent running back for the New York Jets. He could potentially be more effective than starting running back Shonn Greene. That was a time when the Jets were playing surprisingly awful in preseason. Since then, Tebow has become a jack of all trades—punt protector, successfully convert 4th downs, run the...
Tim Tebow Trademarks “Tebowing” Pose -
A short time ago, Tim Tebow got down on one knee and prayed. That move led to a craze, whose name has now been trademarked. Yes, it’s true, Tebow has trademarked the prayer pose, dubbed “Tebowing” by observers. He apparently doesn’t want to make money off of it, but rather wants to make sure that its integrity is protected. “I...
Tim Tebow was the first to "Tebow," and now he holds the rights to the post-touchdown move.
The Jets' quarterback has yet to find the end zone this season, but he has officially trademarked "Tebowing," according to ESPN.
"I know it was something that was cool for me in the past, but it's not something I do as 'Tebowing,'" Tebow said...
New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow has a trademark on "Tebowing. " The saying, which refers to the prayer-like, end-zone pose that Tebow does after scoring a touchdown, is now owned by Tebow, who won the rights to it in a battle with two fans. "I know it was something that was cool for me in the past, but it's not something I do as 'Tebowing,'...
Expect the unexpected with Tim Tebow making his first trip to Foxboro as a member of the New York Jets.
As quarterbacks, you could probably count the similarities between Tim Tebow and Tom Brady on one hand. One thing the players do share is that they both played under Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
That's why New York Jets coach Rex Ryan had Tebow mimicking Brady in the Jets' practice week leading up to Sunday's matchup against the Patriots.
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan may be about to do something that will make him smarter than the majority of head coaches in the NFL today. He may see something that many other coaches have failed to see through three seasons. He may be on the verge of making a decision regarding Tim Tebow that could be the start to bigger and better things.
Ryan may be switching Tebow’s position...

It is no secret that the New York Jets organization has been through some struggles. The loss of crucial players such as Darrelle Revis to injury, the dysfunction between players and coaches and the issues at quarterback, have not only hurt...
These two get a lot of coverage, but play on field will make the difference
New York Jets (3-3) @ New England Patriots (3-3) 4:25 p.m.
It seems as though the New York Jets are trying a new tactic in the lead up to games against the Patriots. They are being complimentary and keeping the bulletin board material to a minimum. It doesn't seem right and worries me a little. Could...
