Found May 12, 2013 on Taking Bad Schotz:
PLAYERS: Tim Tebow
TEAMS: New York Jets
“I promise you one thing. A lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season. You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season.” Click here to view the video on YouTube. The above quote is the greatest quote I have ever heard a person speak. Other than Kevin Garnett pounding his chest, the only thing in the entire world that can get me fired up is watching Tim Tebow’s speech after losing to Ole Miss. Tebow is a leader amongst men. He won the 2007 Heisman trophy by setting SEC records in almost every major category. He was projected to be drafted in the late rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft and to be a bust, but persevered. Tebow led the 2-5 Denver Broncos into the 2011 playoffs, and became a hero. My parents remember where they were when JFK was shot, and I remember when I was when Tebow beat one of the premier defenses in the league when they upset the Steelers. Tebow was then traded to his “preferred destination” and as we all know, and would be introduced during a press conference and would be given the chance to lead the Jets to the Super Bowl, right? Nope sorry! Punt Protector! Photo Credit: Heinz Kluetmeier/SI Now as we all know, the Jets released poor Tim Tebow last week. I wasn’t shocked. I was angry, furious, upset, mad, pissed off, and upset. According to ESPN, Tim Tebow brings a circus of media members to him wherever he goes. ESPN “experts” say that Tebow simply cannot play in the NFL. I will never understand. Ever. I am a diehard New England Patriots fan. I want Tebow more than anything. Once he was released, I figured the Patriots would sign him and stick it to the Jets just like they did with Danny Woodhead. Bill Belichick has already come out and said no due to the “circus”. While I watch ESPN for at least four hours a day, it troubles me when they absolutely crap on Tebow. What goes through people’s minds when they talk about this so-called Tebow “circus”? The circus is ESPN. ESPN is the circus. ESPN follows Tebow around all day everyday. Reporting on what he eats, what time he goes to bed, and whether or not he can throw a football. Guys like Skip Bayless (my favorite) and Stephan A Smith debate every single day about whether Tebow can be a legitimate player in the league. They create controversy about Tebow and end the argument with something along the lines of “He’s got potential and all, but he brings way too much media attention.” Give me a break. It baffles me. It kills me. Tebow deserves a chance. He’s a winner. A pure winner.  If you’re reading this Tim, you can suit up for my squad any day of the week. -Kovner

Giants co-owner says Jets damaged Tebow’s career (Video)

Although Tim Tebow's time with the Jets has ended, it's not stopping rival executives from looking back on arguably one of the worst moves in Gang Green's history. Giants co-owner Steve Tisch told TMZ that he feels "badly" for Tebow, implying the free agent quarterback's career was damaged by the Jets. "I think him going from the Broncos to the...

Tim Tebow isn't good enough to be a distraction

Is Tim Tebow being blackballed by the NFL? The short and simple answer is that Tim Tebow is not good enough as a player to be a distraction in the NFL, and the media circus around him is a distraction. There's no question Tim Tebow is one of the biggest media stories as an athlete. Forbes just named him America's most influential athlete. The Onion just named him America...

Tim Tebow may be short on interest from NFL teams at the moment, but at least he has plenty of other job offers. Ron Jaworski, a former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current ESPN NFL analyst, says he offered Tebow a job to play for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League. Jaws is one of the team’s co-owners. Jaworski told the Philadelphia Daily News that he and...

Giants co-owner: Jets ruined Tebow

Tim Tebow may longer be part of the New York Jets, but that doesn't mean he's still can't make headlines in the Big Apple.

Tim Tebow offered backup role with Ron Jaworski’s Arena Football League team

The offers haven’t been pouring in for quarterback Tim Tebow since the Jets released him last month. In actuality the only offer the NFL’s most polarizing player has received has been from the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL, who own Tebow’s negotiating rights by the way, and that was to come in and compete for a spot as the backup QB to starter Anthony Calvillo. Not exactly...

Tim Tebow is on the hunt for a new quarterbacking job after being released by the New York Jets, and Ron Jaworski is offering to help him find work. Does Tebow have Soul?

There’s been so much talk about Tim Tebow and his religious beliefs but maybe we’ll see soon how much soul he really has. Ron Jaworski of the AFL’s Philadelphia Soul has offered the “quarterback” a chance to play for the team. This isn’t the first AFL offer that Tebow has received but it could be the most intriguing. The Omaha Beef put an offer on the table for the...

NFL rumors: Tim Tebow offered job with Philadelphia Soul

Since the New York Jets released quarterback Tim Tebow, NFL teams haven’t exactly been lining up to sign the polarizing figure. While there’s been a lack of interest from the NFL, Tebow has received attention from a few semi-pro leagues, and it appears that the Philadelphia Soul are the latest to extend an offer, according to The Philadelphia Daily News (via Pro Football Talk...

Tisch blames Jets for Tebow fall

Over the last 16 months, Tim Tebow has gone from leading the Denver Broncos to the NFL playoffs to looking for a job after being released by the New York Jets. There are several reasons Tebowmania never quite panned out on the field, but according to one rival owner who knows a thing or two about the New York market, the Jets -- the team with which his shares a stadium -- may be...

Giants co-owner says Tebow to Jets was mistake

New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch thinks Tim Tebow's time with the Jets was a mistake. Tisch tells TMZ in a video posted on its website Monday that Tebow going to the Jets last offseason from Denver was ''not in anybody's best interest.'' TMZ spoke to Tisch in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Tebow was released by the Jets two weeks ago after one disappointing...

Tim Tebow has a Fan in Roger Goodell (yippee!)

Tim Tebow is loved by fans far and wide, just not too many coaches or team executives. Since getting cut from the New York Jets the young QB has not received even a nibble from another team. In fact, the lack of interest coupled with teams publicly stating a lack of interest in him has led many to say he's been blackballed by the NFL. What Tebow needs is a friend--and it...

Tim Tebow's Biggest Supporters Are Ruining Him

As the man who compiles Football Nation's Top 100 Quarterbacks Since the Merger list, I'd be lying if I said Tebow was, at this time, qualified for the list. The No. 100 entry, Gus Frerotte, had a rather distinguished career as a journeyman backup, and was one of the best seventh round picks in recent memory.Tebow, to my way of thinking, hasn't quite done enough to surpass...
