PLAYERS: Tim Tebow
TEAMS: New York Jets
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow told the media that it’s hard for him to get a rhythm going and get a feel for the game because he’s not on the field on a consistent basis during games. “I think when you’re getting the ball a lot during the game you can get the rhythm of the game and I think that makes it easier,” Tebow said, via ESPNNewYork.com. “You get a feel and a rhythm. I think spot play is fun because you’re in different roles, but at the same time it’s hard to get a feel. Sometime even if it’s just a few plays on a drive, it gets easier. Sometimes that’s the harder part of spot playing, but it is fun. I just love playing period.” It’s great to see Tebow being honest.  I think the Jets have put him in a tough spot this season and really don’t have a reason to expect him to do anything spectacular while he continues to get on the field only a handful of times each game.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";
