Found April 29, 2013 on The Victory Formation:
PLAYERS: Tim Tebow
TEAMS: New York Jets
Although they may wish Tim Tebow to come coach up the scantily clad ladies, his desires lie elsewhere. But that isn’t going to stop the Legends Football League from officially offering a job to the now former superstar back up quarterback of the New York Jets. As you may or may not be aware of, the Legends Football League used to be known as the Lingerie Football League. Not exactly the setting one would expect to find Tebow in, as he is a devout Christian. However, Jesus did recline with the sinners and tax collectors, along with Mary Magdalene. Anyway, here is the letter the league sent to Tebow’s agent: Tebow isn’t quite ready to give up on football that easily, but maybe he will have time in his life to help turn these young ladies lives around. Tim Tebow cut by New York Jets

After one tumultuous season, the Tim Tebow Experiment by the New York Jets has come to an end, with the team releasing the quarterback early on Monday morning.

Jets never considered changing Tebow's position

Since the Jets released Tim Tebow yesterday, there's been some talk around the NFL community that another team may be willing to pick up Tebow if he's willing to play a different position such as fullback or tight end. Now, it seems, the Jets never considered changing his position, viewing him as a quarterback to till the end. On "Mike and Mike in the Morning,"...

Report: Tim Tebow “probably gone” soon

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, a source told him that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is “probably gone” soon. I know the Jets just might be naive enough to think they can still trade Tebow, but they need to face reality that they won’t be able to and stop wasting his time as well as their own and just get rid of him.     Need NFL Tickets?

Jets cut him from the team on Monday, but according to a report, Tebow is now looking at a new career.According to the Tampa Bay Tribune, Tebow will be opening up three chicken restaurants. The report goes on to say that Tebow will invest money into three PDQ [People Dedicated to Quality], which specialize in...

Settle It: Where will New York Jets castoff Tim Tebow play in 2013?

Tim Tebow was officially released by the New York Jets. Where do you think he is headed now? Jacksonville? Canada? It's time to Settle It.

Martin Mayhew on adding Tebow: “Never say never.”

Business Insider ESPN shed thousands of collective tears when the New York Jets released their personal protector on the punt team Monday.  Some fans laughed.  Others thanked greater powers (why, I don’t know).  Some NFL general managers confirmed publicly that their team had no interest in the newly-waived former quarterback.  The ears of some GMs perked up.  Lions GM Martin...

Tim Tebow clears waivers, hits free agency

Former Jets quarterback Tim Tebow through waivers unclaimed today and is now officially a free agent.  He can sign with any team at any time. Just because no teams put in a claim for Tebow doesn’t mean no one is interested.  Now that he’s a free agent, we’ll find out if anyone really wants to really sign him.   Need NFL Tickets?

Teb-OH-NO: The Grim Outlook of Tim Tebow’s NFL Future

Today marks the official end of Tim Tebow’s run in New York. Tebow played 70 offensive snaps last season while making $4 million in total salary (or about $57 grand per snap), getting passed over for Greg Mcelroy after Mark Sanchez struggled late in the year. When the Jets made that call, they had no shot at the playoffs, several major contributors were injured (see: Santonio Holmes...

Jets Release Tim Tebow

In a move that surprised no one, the Jets released Tim Tebow. So ends one of the most bizarre moments in Jets history. As many of you know I haven’t been shy about saying that getting Tebow was a mistake and while so many thought the Jets were getting a winner, it was clear that it rattled Mark Sanchez and that Tebow turned out to be anything but what his press clippings said he...

Tim Tebow Could Be Released From N.Y. Jets Soon

The New York Jets don't know what they're going to do with their quarterback situation, as now it's being reported that the Jets could keep Mark Sanchez and just simply DUMP Tim Tebow. The rumor started making the rounds after the Jets drafted West Virginia QB Geno Smith in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft on Saturday. With the added addition of Smith, the Jets...

Tim Tebow is first casualty of Geno Smith to Jets

So it begins. ESPN and other media outlets report that the New York Jets released little-used quarterback Tim Tebow this morning, leaving the team with five quarterbacks on the roster. New York's little brother team might have cut less heralded Greg McElroy, Matt Simms, or, um. Mark Sanchez. Instead they excised the most useless outsider in NFL history. None...

Mandatory.com makes spoof LinkedIn page for Tim Tebow

Thanks to the media, Tim Tebow is crammed down the publics throats every single chance they can get.  The New York Jets releasing Tim Tebow was given more publicity on ESPN than Jason Collins coming out as the first active gay athlete in a major sport, which is pathetic given Tebow’s NFL career.  Mandatory.com feels similarly about the Tim Tebow circus and made a hilarious LinkedIn...

First Take named one of the 20 worst shows on television

Thankfully, we haven't heard too much noise lately from the Bristol underworld kingdom of First Take.  Tim Tebow's NFL career being on life support and the brilliant play of LeBron James have worked against two of the show's long-standing pillars - that Tebow is a winner and James is not.  Instead of building a show on a solid foundation of insight and analysis, ESPN...

Bob Ley has some wise words for his employer

April 29th, 2013 will be remembered as an important day in American pro sports as Jason Collins came out in a Sports Illustrated exclusive as the first active gay athlete in the four major sports. It will not be remembered as the day the New York Jets replaced Tim Tebow or the day after the 8th seeded Los Angeles Lakers were swept from the NBA Playoffs. And yet, if you watched...
