Football Extra Points:
The Jets started this season with promise of a Tebow package and to be more dynamic on offense. This created a huge media circus and put a lot of attention on Tebow, Sanchez and Rex Ryan. They did a good job of distracting people from the real issue. The real issue with the Jets is they lack offensive talent this season. Their offensive line was terrible, Greene has been a suspect running back and their Wide Receivers were led by a player in Holmes that quit on them last year. All the talk and focus was on the Tebow package and people were not addressing the fact that this was a subpar team. When the season started I expected the Jets to go with a power running game and use Tebow to help run the ball. The problem is, they don't have the talent to have a power running game and they never figured out how to use Tebow. If they lined Tebow up as just a running back he might be the best RB on the team. Now that the Jets are eliminated from the playoffs, they're bypassing Tebow and going straight to Greg McElroy. While Greg showed promise in his very limited playing time, why are the Jets not going to Tebow. Why? Because Rex is afraid. Rex is afraid that Tebow will come in and win. It wouldn't be pretty. Tebow would throw for 150yds a game, some INT's a few rushing TD's but he would lead them to wins in their last two games. Where would that leave Rex? It would look like he made the wrong decision by not playing Tebow earlier. The Jets would then have to spend the entire offseason trying to figure out what to do at the QB position. Is Tim Tebow a Manning or Brady? Not even close? Is he better than a lot of QB's in the league? I think so. Don't forget, he won 7 games last year and beat the Steelers in the playoffs. Here's a list of QB's. Ask yourself if you'd rather have one of these guys or Tebow. - Kevin Kolb - John Skelton - Ryan Lindley - Brady Quinn - Matt Cassell - Ryan Fitzpatrick - Mark Sanchez - Blaine Gabbert - Chad Henne - Carson Palmer - Christian Ponder Can anyone say that all of these guys are better than Tim Tebow? Some of them have shown flashes of good play but I wouldn't take all of them over Tebow. I expect Tebow to play QB next season, unfortunately for him, it could be in Canada. There was a time when it was rumored that Lucy Pinder and Tim Tebow were dating. We still aren’t sure if this was ever true, but regardless of any rumors Lucy Pinder does not need Tim Tebow to make a name for herself. All she needs is a bikini! Check out her gallery below: [...]
Written By Clifford, Santa Monica, In the 47 years that I’ve been watching professional sports I’ve never seen more fuss made over an athlete who was less talented than Timothy Richard Tebow. To me, he’s the NFL’s answer to former NBA stiff Jon Koncak–a reserve center chosen by the Atlanta Hawks with the fifth pick in the 1985 draft. As I recall, Koncak was rewarded...
Former Redskins quaterback Joe Thiesmann began his pro football career in the Canadian Football League and he told USA Today Sports that Jets quarterback Tim tebow wouldn’t have any success north of the border.
“If I was a Canadian football team, I wouldn’t take him,” Thiesmann said.
“You get a lot of one-on-ones. You have a lot of space to throw into, but you still have...
This March, as we all know, Tim Tebow was traded from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets. There was some ambiguity at the time but everyone involved in the trade not named Tim suggested that with two teams interested the choice came down to the player's preference. With reports emerging that Tebow will end up in Jacksonville this offseason it's hard not to wonder if...

With Robert Griffin III stealing all of Tim Tebow’s ESPN attention, the New York Jets quarterback has found a way to land himself back in the headlines.
Tebow, who has only started for the Jets once this season, will reportedly request a trade or to be released if he doesn’t get the chance to start over Greg McElroy in the final two games of the season.

It’s basically a foregone conclusion that Tim Tebow’s tenure

So word on the street - and by street, I mean everywhere - is that Tim Tebow won't be returning to the New York Jets next season.First of all, why is this news? Why would the Jets want him back? They never used him. (Case in point, when they decided to bench Mark Sanchez in this upcoming Sunday's game, they leap-frogged over Tebow to third string QB Greg McElroy to start)...
It’s been a busy week for New York Jets quarterbacks.
Mark Sanchez threw four interceptions and lost a fumble, Greg McElroy was named the new starter, Tim Tebow felt misled, Sanchez could be traded, Tebow wants to be traded, Michael Vick wants to sign with the team and now Tebow has called it quits with his girlfriend. Tebow broke up with Camilla Belle after two weeks of dating...
There has been a lot of speculation regarding the future of quarterbacks Tim Tebow, Michael Vick, Alex Smith and Mark Sanchez.
Two of which are currently on the New York Jets’ roster, one of those two most likely won’t be there in 2013 and the other two have been discussed as possible fits.

Remember those comments ESPN President John Skipper made about the network finally seeing the light and realizing their obsession with Tim Tebow was way too much for way too long? Let's take a look back, shall we?
"I said, 'Guys, we didn't handle this very well.' Going to training camp wasn't a problem. We just stayed on it relentlessly and too long...
Mark Sanchez may be signed with the Jets through the 2016 season, but it appears his jersey has already hit the clearance rack.
Seth Walder of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets are expected to keep Mark Sanchez in place as their No. 2 quarterback behind Greg McElroy.
This would be an obvious indication that the team doesn’t want Tim Tebow under center in any circumstance for the team’s final two games of the season. Tebow is reportedly prepared to ask for a trade or a release in the coming...
