Seems Jets QB Tim Tebow is staying in shape during the offseason by partaking in some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at the famous Gracie Academy in Torrance, California. Rener Gracie tweeted out this photo of Tebow with UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub, and his brothers Ralek and Ryron Gracie forming what could be the greatest Red Rover team ever. Apparently the style of martial arts that Tebow is learning is “characterized as a self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting,” which could come in handy when trying to shake yourself free from the clutches of a pursuing linebacker, or find yourself at the bottom of a pile of several players fighting for a loose ball.
How it will help you improve your sideline clipboard holding prowess is beyond me.
