Andy Levitre has signed a five-year $39 million deal with the Tennessee Titans today (Credit: AP Photo) Today, the Tennessee Titans looked to shore up their offensive line by adding one of the premier guards in this year’s free agency as they signed former Buffalo Bill Andy Levitre. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the team is a five-year deal worth $39 million. Levitre has started all 64 games for the Buffalo Bills after being drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. According to Yahoo! Sports, “the $7.8 million average per year is higher than recent contracts signed by Pro Bowlers Davin Joseph (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $7.5 million per year) and Ben Grubbs (New Orleans Saints, $7.2 million per year).” The Titans signed Levitre to replace Steve Hutchinson after he retired this off-season due to health concerns. Levitre will look to keep quarterback Jake Locker upright and open holes for running back C.J. Johnson.   The post Titans agree to terms with guard Andy Levitre appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE.
