The Titans flirted with five free agent centers, something Eugene Amano couldnt help but notice. Yet the starter in the middle the past two seasons said he wasnt offended. He does, however, intend to prove the Titans are better off sticking with him in 2012. I understand it is a business, and whatever they can do to make the team better, I understand, Amano said. I am not going to take it personal; you cant. At the end of the day all I can do is control what I can control and that is getting better and proving that I am the guy still. Right now, however, Amano isnt able to fight for his job. Hes still recovering from knee and ankle surgeries earlier this offseason. Theres always competition, Amano said. But I know for a fact that I think I am going to be the guy for this fall.

Ex-NFL star Eddie George tries to save home from foreclosure
Former Pro Bowl and Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George and wife Tamara are trying all they can to keep their million-dollar home off the auction block. George just learned recently that the house in Nashville is set for auction on Thursday, June 7. According to the Tennessean newspaper, the Georges had been seeking a mortgage modification for several months, with their...
Hasselbeck, Locker split QB work
Tennessee's Matt Hasselbeck knows only too well how quickly a starting job can be lost. He is the player the Titans tried to replace with Peyton Manning in March.
Hasselbeck also likes to compete.
Good thing since the Titans kicked their quarterback battle into a new gear with their first on-field training activities this week. The Titans are letting Hasselbeck and Jake Locker...
Titans open competition at center
The Titans’ interior offensive line was one of the most publicly scrutinized units in the league last year and their poor play was a huge part of the reason why Chris Johnson had the worst season of his career. The Titans haven’t made any upgrades at the positions this offseason, with the exception of signing veteran free agent Steve Hutchinson. However, they didn’t use a draft...
Chris Johnson wins title belt in Titans’ rock-paper-scissors tournament (Photos)
Chris Johnson is a lot of things. An offensive player of the year. A rushing-title holder. A record breaker. A fantasy football bust. And now CJ2K has something new to add to his list of accolades: Rock-paper-scissors champ. Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt has the details:
RB Chris Johnson was proudly carrying a big belt around the locker room Friday after winning the Rock, Paper Scissors...
Verner looks forward to playing inside
When the Titans lost Cortland Finnegan to St. Louis as a free agent, it was presumed that the club would likely have to dip into free agency to find some sort of replacement.
Thus far, the Titans have avoided that scenario, though they courted a number of veteran cornerbacks early in free agency, a list that included Tracy Porter and William Gay, as well as a brief discussion and...
Titans’ Kenny Britt will be limited for start of Training Camp
Kenny Britt missed most of last season with a torn ACL and needed additional surgery this offseason on the same knee, though it was a much more minor procedure. Nonetheless, it is not good news for the Titans and it puts his week 1 status in doubt. Today Titans’ head coach Mike Munchak said that Britt will be limited for the start of Training Camp at the very least. He has yet...
See the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders 2013 Swimsuit Calendar photoshoot (37 pics)
Football is only a few months away and I really miss all the sexy cheerleaders. Thankfully some NFL teams have their cheerleaders go to a scenic locale to model for a swimsuit calendar. The Tennessee Titans began shooting on their calendar yesterday and we have the photos for your enjoyment. Since Tennessee is landlocked the beautiful cheerleaders went to the panhandle of Florida...
Titans to split reps evenly between Jake Locker and Matt Hasselbeck
The Titans have said they will be having a true quarterback battle between Jake Locker and Matt Hasselbeck this offseason and they are staying true to their word and giving reps with the first team evenly to each in OTAs. Mike Munchak has said he feels so good about both that he’s not leaning either way on the matter, but that he’d like to have a quarterback named by the 3rd...
Eddie George trying to save his house from foreclosure
Former Tennessee Titans star Eddie George received a surprise at his home this week in the form of a foreclosure notice. According to George's accountant, Larry Goodman, the home is scheduled to be auctioned on June 7.
Goodman had been negotiating a loan modification with IndyMac Mortgage Services over the past seven months.
The Georges bought the 8,550-square-foot home...

The million-dollar home of former Tennessee Titans star Eddie George and his wife Tamara will be auctioned off June 7 - to the surprise of the Georges.

According to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt should be ready to participate in training camp on a limited basis.
This is certainly good news since Britt recently underwent a procedure to clean up the original surgery he underwent to repair his torn MCL and ACL.
How the Titans were sacked in 2011, part one
As part of our continuing meandering look on the Titans' offensive line this offseason, I thought I'd take a look at how the Titans were sacked in 2011. On the whole, the best way to describe how the Titans were sacked in 2011 is "not very often." Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker went down a combined 24 times, tied for second-fewest in the league. My favorite measure...
Mortgage Company Puts Ex-Titans RB Eddie George's House Up For Auction
The million-dollar home of Eddie George and his wife Tamara will be auctioned off June 7 -- to the surprise of the Georges. An accountant for the couple told the Tennessean the Georges have been trying to modify their loan for several months but that they find themselves in the same situation as many American homeowners -- stuck with a house no longer worth what was paid for it....
Jake Locker Splitting Reps As Starter
Jake Locker and Matt Hasselbeck are splitting reps 50/50 in practice until a clear starter emerges, according to the Tennessean. Fantasy Spin: Coach Mike Munchak would like to have the No. 1 QB spot settled by the third preseason game, and Locker has a very high ceiling as a fantasy prospect if he wins the job after dazzling at times as a rookie in 2011, while 36-year-old vet Matt...
