Titans defensive tackle is in the midst of his second year in the league coming out of the University of Southern California. During his time as a Trojan, Casey spent a year with Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, where he said Sanchez was a good QB, but he’s changed during his time as a pro. “In college, I felt like he sat back there more comfortably, but now I feel like he’s a little timid and he likes to just throw the ball up wherever,” Casey said via TitanInsider.com. “I played with him one year. Being there, he was a good quarterback and he did what he had to do. And still to this day, he’s doing a decent job. He’s going to be a good threat out there and we’ve got to make sure we stop him.” Titans DT Jurrell Casey (Left) says the Titans will keep embarrassing Mark Sanchez (Photo via cstv.collegesports.com) In saying he’s good, he said he’s a little more timid – which doesn’t necessarily say Sanchez sucks, but saying that the Titans want to go out on Monday and keep embarrassing him is insinuating that the fourth year QB, well, sucks. “It’s a tough place to play out there, and if you’re not ready for the job, don’t do it,” He said. “You’ve got to step up to the plate, and he ain’t stepped up to the plate yet. We’re just going to keep embarrassing him and bringing more heat and let their fans do what they’ve got to do.” Sanchez has struggled against the blitz this season and defenses have hit him more often than he’d rather, with defenders blowing him up every week, he’s sure to be a little more timid each and every game. The Titans aren’t the Super Bowl team they’d like to be, either. But they’ll have a plan to get to Sanchez, hoping to embarrass him, although nothing may ever be more embarrassing than the infamous ass-fumble. It’ll be hard to top that one, but if Casey and the Titans have their way as they wish, we as fans are in for some good entertainment. Get your popcorn ready! Titans will have a small window to release Chris Johnson

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Tennessee Titans will have a small window in February where they’ll be able to release running back Chris Johnson without any salary camp ramifications. Titans have a five-day window from Feb. 4 until Feb. 9 in which they can cut Chris Johnson at no cost against their salary-cap. But if Johnson is on the Titans’ roster after Feb. 9, $9...

The Titans are an up and down franchise, that does not help the Head Coach keep his job. A look at Head Coaches in trouble this offseason.

The Titans franchise is a tough one to figure out.  They have a mix of youth and veteran talent and play up and down each week.   The Buffalo Bills were picked by many, including me, to make the playoffs this season.  They have not lived up to that expectation. As we get closer to the end of the season it's time to start looking ahead to the coaching changes for...

Britt looking like his old self despite sore knees

Kenny Britt knows both his knees will not be 100 percent until sometime after the season ends when he's not practicing daily and playing games. He is feeling better now and looking like the big physical receiver who was off to one of the NFL's best starts for Tennessee in 2011 before tearing his right ACL and needing a total of three operations on both knees through June...

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans: Three Bold Predictions

Coming off two snore-fest wins over bottom-dwelling teams, the New York Jets somehow find themselves positioned for an absurd playoff run. That said, I am here to give you three reasons as to why the New York Jets will fall flat and ultimately lose their season on Monday Night Football.  Bold Prediction No. 1: The Tennessee Titans Will Look Like a Real NFL TeamWith just four wins...

New York Jets: 5 biggest mistakes of 2012

This season has been tumultuous to say the least for the New York Jets. The Jets have now put themselves in a position where they sit at 6-7 and need a lot of help to reach the playoffs. The Indianapolis Colts need to lose their remaining games (unlikely since one of those games is against Kansas City) or the Cincinnati Bengals must beat the Pittsburgh Steelers but lose to the Baltimore...

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans: Week 15 NFL Pick

New York Jets (6-7) at Tennessee Titans (4-9) The Titans are 4-9, which isn’t very good at all, but if you can believe it, they’re even worse than their record. Of their 9 losses, 5 have come by 21 or more and only one of their 4 wins have come by more than a field goal. As a result, they rank 29th in net points per drive, DVOA, and weighted DVOA. The Jets aren’t as good as...

PREVIEW: NY JETS (6-7) @ TITANS (4-9)

THE NEW YORK JETS PUT THEIR PLAYOFF HOPES ON THE LINE AGAINST THE TENNESSEE TITANS ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. In a game that'll more than likely not live up to a "Clash of the Titans" label, the Jets -- formerly the Titans of the New York -- take their playoff hopes on the road to play the Titans of Tennessee on Monday Night Football. Winners in three of their last four...

For those of you who didn't tune into the "12-12-12" Hurricane Sandy relief concert, you might have this musical gem from comedian Adam Sandler. The song is called "Sandy, Screw Ya" and pays tribute to the New York and New Jersey area that hit hard by the superstorm. In the song, Sandler pokes fun at Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez's butt fumble and...

Gameday Deciding Factors: Jets at Titans

The New York Jets (6-7) are winners of three of their last four contests, and with a victory over the Tennessee Titans (4-9) Monday night, they can remain just on the outer edge of the Wildcard race with two games to go. Gang Green's defense has been stout as of late, and their run game has been just as good. Their passing attack, however, is still stagnant thanks to quarterback...
