J.J. Watt October 2012

Facebook.com/HoustonTexans

The Tennessee Titans are like the punch drunk boxer who gets dominated and bruised for 12 rounds, knocked down three times and at the end of the fight says, “Well he never hurt me with any big shots.”

That’s Titans guard Leroy Harris, who gave up two sacks to Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, yet told Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle that “he locked Watts down for most of the game.”

Um.. #Titans guard Leroy Harris on JJ Watt: “He’s not anything special…I locked him down most of the game except those 2 plays.” #Texans

— Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) October 1, 2012

Even if that is the case, Watt still amassed two sacks and is still considered the premier defender in football right now. Right now, Harris should focus less on Watt and more on helping running  back Chris Johnson get more rushing yards.

Titans G Leroy Harris says J.J. Watts is nothing special

Titans must get rid of Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson is arguably the best runner for the Tennessee Titans. An explosive runner that has been reduced to the bottom of the NFL stat sheets. Johnson is the 2K yard man with many attributes that attributed to one of the top contracts for a running back in the NFL.Why the suggestion to get rid of him? I’ll admit that it would be hard to watch your star player once again be...

Owen Daniels Stands Out For Texans Week 4

Texans tight end Owen Daniels caught six passes for 72 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Titans. Houston has played it conservative on offense this season, running the ball a ton and throwing the majority of the time to backs and tight ends.Fantasy Spin:Daniels, not Andre Johnson, has been Matt Schaub's No. 1 target this season. He has 19 catches, 232 yards and two scores...

Houston Texans Crush Titans; Improve to 4-0

The Houston Texans picked up their fourth win and remain unbeaten after a 38-14 defeat of the Tennessee Titans in week 4 of the 2012-13 NFL season. J.J. NFL First Quarter Report Card: Houston Texans

It’s hard to imagine the Houston Texans players and staff imagining a better first quarter of the 2012 season than what they’ve got. I guess they could have won all four games by 20 points or more? Because other than a late comeback attempt by the Denver Broncos, the Texans have annihilated all competition on their way to a perfect 4-0 start. A start that is only shared by two...

Titans Rule Out QB Jake Locker For Week 5 - Jake Locker…

Titans Rule Out QB Jake Locker For Week 5 - Jake Locker (shoulder) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Locker is in danger of missing multiple weeks. The Titans want his twice-dislocated left shoulder to get as strong as possible so he doesn’t end up needing season-ending surgery. Veteran Matt Hasselbeck, who averaged 223.2 yards per game and threw 18 touchdowns...

Mucho Frio: Ben Tate

Foster is too good Juan… Ben Tate is running behind arguably the best offensive line in football. He is also running behind arguably the best RB in football. The Texans may be the best team in the NFL with one of the top defensive units, so it would only makes sense that they would run the hell out the ball. Tate has been pushed as a good flex option on most weeks, but that has...

Tennessee Titans: QB Jake Locker Leaves Game With Injury

Quarterback Jake Locker left Sunday’s game for the Tennessee Titans in their Week Four match-up versus the Houston Texans with a shoulder injury, according to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com. Locker is questionable to return, with backup Matt Hasselbeck filling in for him in his place. Locker got knocked out in the first quarter after getting hit hard by Texans safety Glover...

Fantasy Update: Chris Johnson Has Addressed Your Complaints

I’m sure all fantasy owners who drafted Chris Johnson in either the first or second round have been utterly disappointed.Johnson’s production through the first three games was pathetic. To open the season he gave fantasy owners a whopping 5.1 points. Then, he followed that up in weeks two and three with 2.8 points and 2.9 points. In a previous article I had written, I advised...

Titans Cheerleaders Code Blue Pep Rally Lifted my Spirits

Well you can officially bump up the Titan Cheerleading squad to my top 5 and perhaps even top 3 after what happened in Nashville a few weeks ago. Last Friday, Nashville’s NFL fever was stoked with the first ever Titans Code Blue Pep Rally, featuring the Mayor of Nashville, Titans players, Titans mascot T-Rac, announcers, marching bands, live music, and, of course the Tennessee...

Kenny Britt Won't Play Week 4

Titans wideout Kenny Britt won't play Sunday versus the Texans. He rolled his left ankle last week in an overtime win over the Lions.Fantasy Spin:We're guessing Nate Washington will play a bigger role than usual with Britt on the sidelines, though we still wouldn't expect him to do anything too crazy against the top-ranked Houston defense.

Houston Texans Season Analysis – First Quarter

The beginning to the Houston Texans season has been perfect in the win-loss department, but not perfect overall. They’re a team that is finally gaining national recognition as a legit Super Bowl contender and in many cases, the best team in the NFL through four weeks. But as anybody can tell you, it’s not about where you are as a team in September and early October, but rather...

Locker could miss one or more games with shoulder injury

Jake Locker's injured left shoulder likely will keep the Tennessee Titans quarterback from playing Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and there's a possibility he could miss several games. Locker suffered a separated non-throwing shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans. Coach Mike Munchak said an MRI on Monday showed no structural damage, The Tennessean reported...

Titans WR Kenny Britt Out For Week 4 Vs Texans

Early in the season, the Titans were cautious with receiver Kenny Britt's knees, especially since he was coming off offseason surgery, but in Week 3, he caught six passes for 55 yards and showed positive signs of being healthy. However, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, we won't be seeing him in Week 4 vs. the Texans. That's because Britt suffered an ankle injury...

Glover Quinn Monster Sack On Jake Locker

Houston’s Glover Quinn knocked Tennessee’s Jake Locker right out the game today with this hit. Locker is currently in the locker room getting x-rays. Matt Hasselbeck is warming up. Article found on: Cosby Sweaters
