The Tennessee Titans lost their starting center Eugene Amano for the upcoming 2012 season to a torn triceps injury in training camp, coach Mike Munchak confirmed on Saturday. Photo Credit: Donn Jones Photography/TitansOnline.com Tennessee tried to find an upgrade at the position earlier this offseason in free agency, but was unable to sign Jeff Saturday (took his talents to the Green Bay Packers), Scott Wells (signed with St. Louis) and Chris Myers (re-signed with Houston). Amano, 30, was a seventh-round selection (239th overall) by the Titans out of Southeast Missouri State in 2004. He started every game for the Titans last season and is only of a few NFL players to be born from the Philippines. Tim Tebow is the only other notable name. Third-year center Fernando Velasco has just three starts in his career and looks to become the starter, as Kevin Matthews, who was listed as second on the depth chart, is being held out right now due to post-concussion symptoms. The Titans have plenty of sidebars that will make training camp a little more interesting to follow than usual. Mike Wallace Trade Possibilities

Now I know its been made clear that Pittsburgh and Mike Wallace aren’t parting ways, but that doesn’t mean we can’t imagine. Plenty of teams could use the speedster’s services. Not to mention willing to show Mike the money. The Titans are a young team fit to make a push in the coming years. Chris Johnson was signed long-term last season, and rookie quarterback Jake Locker...
