Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson returned to practice Friday and will start in Sunday's season finale against the Houston Texans.
Titans coach Mike Munchak pronounced his star running back "ready to go" after he struggled with an ankle injury and managed only 56 yards on 15 carries in last week's win over Jacksonville.
Johnson, who has accumulated only 134 yards rushing on 41 carries in the past three games, needs 14 yards to reach 1,000 for the fourth consecutive season.
Tennessee plays at Houston in the regular-season finale Sunday needing a win and a lot of help to earn a playoff berth.
