Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson sat out practice again Thursday due to an ankle injury.
Johnson was hurt in Sunday's loss against the Indianapolis Colts, the latest setback in a disappointing season.
Although he needs 70 yards to reach 1,000 for the season, Johnson has failed to rush for more than 64 yards in 10 of 14 games.
He sat out all of training camp during a holdout before agreeing to a $53.5 million extension.
The Titans face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.
