The Tennessee Titans on Saturday reversed a move made earlier in the week. The Titans promoted safety Tracy Wilson back from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and waived guard Kyle DeVan. On Tuesday, the Titans agreed to terms with DeVan, who leaves without ever playing a regular-season game in Tennessee, and waived Wilson to make room on the roster. The Titans needed help on the offensive line for practice due to four of five starters being on the injury report. Wilson was signed back to the practice squad earlier this week and was promoted back to the 53-man roster to mainly help on special teams thhis week against the Chicago Bears. Titans rookie WR Kendall Wright hurts right elbow

Titans rookie receiver Kendall Wright has hurt his right elbow in the third quarter against Chicago. Wright walked to the sideline with about 12 minutes left in the quarter after Chris Johnson ran for 10 yards, holding his arm at his side. He was tended to by a doctor on the sideline before walking to the locker room. The team said his return is questionable. The first-round draft...

Chris Johnson Runs Wild Against Bears

Titans running back Chris Johnson went wild Sunday against the Chicago. He finished the day with 141 yards and a touchdown on just 16 carries.Fantasy Spin:Johnson did lose a couple of fumbles but getting to 141 yards against the Bears' stout run defense is still an impressive feat, even if 80 of said yards came on one play in the fourth quarter.

Titans Injury Report: Jake Locker, Kenny Britt, Nate Washington

While Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s contest against the Chicago Bear, coach Mike Munchak has said that he won’t play, reports Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. Meanwhile, backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is expected to have wide receivers Kenny Britt (knee) and Nate Washington (knee) available. He said quarterback Jake...

NFL Midseason Report Card: Tennessee Titans

Before the season started, I took some heat in the comments section of my predictions article about how I thought the Titans would be little better than a dumpster fire this season. With the way the season started, it appeared I could be right. Other than a game that should have gotten both defensive coordinators fired against the Detroit Lions, the Titans could have started the...

Titans’ Bud Adams: “All aspects of the Organization will be closely evaluated”

Following Sunday’s 51-20 loss to the Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans Owner Bud Adams said he’s never been more humiliated in his life. It was a start-to-finish beatdown of his team, and nothing about the loss looked positive for the struggling franchise. He let everyone know on Sunday night that all of their jobs were on the line as he evaluated his team. “In my 50 years of...

This season, they are 30th in the league in average yards per game allowed with 421.2 and are 31st in points allowed per game with 32.1. Defensive coordinator Jerry Gray has found himself on...

Turnovers, special teams lead Bears to blowout over Titans

It started ugly, with a fumble by Kenny Britt on the first play. It got a little bit better, as the Bears became the first team not to score against the Titans on their first and second possessions. Then, the Titans had the ball again. Brett Kern had his punt blocked and returned for a score. The Titans got a safety the next possession, but were forced to punt, a punt Devin Hester...

Chicago Bears at Tennessee Titans: Three Bold Predictions

When the Chicago Bears (6-1) and Tennessee Titans (3-5) meet in Nashville on Sunday this will seemingly be a battle of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Bears are currently on a five-game winning streak, where as the Titans are coming off a tough luck loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.The last time these two teams met the Titans walked away with a 21-14 despite...

The Chicago Bears (6-1) and the Tennessee Titans (3-5) will meet for the 11th time ever on Sunday afternoon. The all-time series is tied 5-5. The Titans beat the Bears 21-14 the last time these two teams squared off in 2008. This is only the second time the Bears will take on the Titans at LP Field. QB Craig Krenzel was under center the last time the Bears traveled to Tennessee...

The Numbers Behind the Bear’s Domination of the Titans

Lovie Smith’s message to the team this week was to “have a fast start”. They clearly got the memo. In 2000, the Tennessee Titans pulled off the famous “Music City Miracle”. In 2012, the Bears stormed into Nashville and put on a performance that from this day forth should be known as the “Music City Massacre” (I’m trademarking this).   If they hadn’t done so already...

Key Matchup: Chicago Bears' Defense Against Titans RB Chris Johnson

The Chicago Bears travel to Tennessee to take on the (3-5) Titans on Sunday. You may being saying to yourself that this should be another easy win for the Bears this Sunday. Nothing is easy in this league. The Titans have been showing signs of life over the past couple of weeks. Specifically running back Chris Johnson. He has been the NFL's leading rusher over the past five...
