Titans Release DE Pannel Egboh, OT Troy Kropog

TEAMS: Tennessee Titans,  Arizona Cardinals
The Titans released defensive end Pannel Egboh and tackle Troy Kropog on Tuesday, in order to get down to the 53-man roster limit.

The moves were necessary after wide receiver Kenny Britt returned from his one-week suspension, and after the Titans’ signing of guard Deuce Lutui.

Lutui has played in 93 games for the Arizona Cardinals – and started 72 – over the past six seasons. He didn’t start any games for Arizona last year, but appeared in 15 contests.

Egboh’s release is a bit of a surprise, considering he was getting some first-team reps for a few weeks during training camp.
