Former North Carolina linebacker Zach Brown, the Tennessee Titans 2nd round pick (52nd overall), had to deal with the unflattering label of being too soft for the NFL throughout the entire draft process. Most pegged the linebacker as a guy who shied away from contact, which prompted to teams to shy away from him, ironically. But the Titans saw something more in him. Perhaps it was Brown’s speed. As a member of North Carolina’s track team, he set a school record in the 60-meter dash. We’ll have to wait see how this pick pans out for Tennessee, but in the meantime, Brown feels comfortable enough in his new NFL home to fire back at his critics:
