The Tennessee Titans announced on Tuesday evening that embattled wide receiver Kenny Britt was taken off the physically unable to perform list and will join the active roster on Wednesday. The news release also said that Britt, whose season was ended early last season because of a knee injury, would not play in the teams final preseason game on Thursday against the New Orleans Saints at LP Field. In July, Britt was arrested for the eighth time since he arrived in the NFL in 2009. Earlier in August, he met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and could be facing some kind of suspension under the leagues personal conduct policy. He was arrested twice during the NFL lockout, but Goodell elected not to take any disciplinary measures last year against Britt, owing to the fact that the league was shut down.
