Today in Patriots history – August 6th, 2001 from Patriots.com:
Patriots quarterback coach Dick Rehbein died due to a heart condition at the age of 45.
Rehbein, of course, will always be remembered in New England for lobbying for the team to draft Michigan quarterback Tom Brady instead of Louisiana Tech QB Tim Rattay.
