TEAMS: New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens
On this day in 2002, Chris McAlister returned a missed field goal 107 yards making it the longest NFL play at the time (later broken by Antonio Cromartie). The Ravens and Broncos faced off, and we got one of the most memorable plays in Monday Night Football history.
The best part of the video might very well be the block by Ray Lewis at the 1:12 mark of the video. Someone cue Chris Tucker aka Smokey after that hit. That plus Coach Brian Billick’s reaction (0:33) make this video a near-perfect sports highlight.
