Tom Brady pulled an RG3. Brady showed up to Wednesday's media session wearing a gray sweatshirt. No big deal, right? Well, upon closer examination, it looks like the Patriots quarterback decided to follow in the footsteps of Robert Griffin III and cover up the sweatshirt's Nike swoosh logo. The logo, which is supposed to appear on the sleeve of the sweatshirt, appears to be covered with white tape. Brady, of course, is an Under Armour guy. RG3's cover-up, which came prior to his NFL debut, was much more emphatic, as the Redskins quarterback spelled out "heart" on his warmup shirt...

Tom Brady's Doesn't Think Patriots Have Earned Better Record, Remains Focused on 'Winning'

Tom Brady isn't used to losing, and he isn't very fond of it either. After enduring a heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, the Patriots dropped to 1-2 on the season. And Brady believes that's exactly where they deserve to be. "We're 1-2, we're not in a good position right now," Brady said. "We're in the exact position...

Tom Brady doesn't blame refs for loss to Ravens

Tom Brady really isn't one to stir up controversy like his teammate Brandon Spikes, so it's not surprise he didn't have much to offer on this topic. Though, really, most of the terrible calls were on the Patriots defense, not the offense. If anything, the Patriots offense benefited from some bad officiating.Brady puts the blame on the players for the 1-2 start, and rightfully...

Couldn't Gronkowski's performance be similar to Welker's lack of production in the first two games? This happened all the time last year--Gronkowski would have a 150+-yard game followed by a game where he only had 3 catches. Hernandez would light up one g

Well as Tom Brady has said, his favorite receiver is the open one. Moving the ball was not a problem...

Fantasy Forecast: Week 4

QB Tom Brady After a few weeks of mediocre performances, I think this is the week that Brady really breaks out. The Bills defense is vulnerable to the pass, giving up 6 TDs through the air in games against the Jets, Chiefs and Browns so far this year. Expect Brady to pull out one of his “you’re going to win your fantasy game no matter what” games out of the hat...

Brady Not Blaming Officiating For Struggles

New England quarterback Tom Brady declines to lay blame on the replacement officials for the team's early struggles.

Tom Brady, Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson, of course these guys will be in starting lineups everywhere. Here are a few guys that could be available, or have rode your bench all season, that will help contribute this week.Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Atlanta - Given Turner's recent struggles, Rodgers has taken on a bigger role in the Falcons' explosive offense.Last week, Rodgers had...

Baltimore Ravens: Exorcising Their Demons?

When the New England Patriots went up by nine late in the 4th quarter last night, it appeared that the Baltimore Ravens still hadn’t found a way to get the better of Tom Brady and company. After the way last season ended, to think the Patriots weren’t still in the Ravens head might be a little too optimistic. Especially when we all remember how last season ended between them...

NFL Week Three: Patriots @ Bills

“It’s not like we sit here in the locker room and say, ‘God, we’re terrible, we can’t make any plays, we’re not even in these games.’ We’re right in them. We just have to do a better job in certain areas. If we do that, we’ll start winning close games. If we don’t, we’ll have a miserable year. No one wants that around here.” Who better than Tom Brady to sum...

New England Patriots: Week 4 NFL Power Rankings (#5)

Last week: 3 (-2) Record: 1-2 The Patriots are under .500 for the first time since week 1 of 2003, but they’ll be fine. Over the past couple of years, they’ve started a little sluggish and then hit their stride. This week, they go to Buffalo to face an old punching bag and hope to avoid their first 3 game losing streak since 2002. They’re still the most consistent team in the...

Fantasy Football Trade Tactics

The famous country singer Kenny Rogers once said “You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em.” I think that is a great way to look at trades in fantasy football. Two weeks into the season and everyone is wanting to buy the guys like Robert Griffin III and Kevin Ogletree and sell the likes of Tom Brady and Miles Austin. There are many things to consider when...

Arizona Cardinals vs. Miami Dolphins Pick Against the Spread

MIAMI DOLPHINS @ ARIZONA CARDINALS (-6.5) The one downside to this pick is the Cardinals don’t necessarily have an offensive juggernaut and won’t light up the scoreboard against a solid Miami defense, but I’m banking on the Cardinals defense dominating the the Dolphins. The Cardinals defense is for real. I’m not overreacting their wins over the Patriots and Eagles either...
