ESPN's Seth Wickersham recently wrote a must-read article on Tom Brady last week. I posted on one of my favorite quotes from the article about Kurt Warner. For the most part, a lot of the article contained stuff about Brady that you'd already know if you had been listening to his often times very candid weekly WEEI interviews the past few years. Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston was able to get his hands on Wickersham's notebook however and there are some great quotes that didn't make the final cut. One of which really drives home the point that Brady if absolutely obssessed with his job. ESPNBoston: "No. It’s all consuming. There isn’t a moment that I don’t think about playing. As I walk by the mirror in the morning I’ll go through a throwing mechanic. It’s just ingrained in every aspect of my life. There’s no off button. And I guess I’ve experienced a lot of things in my life, and there’s nothing -- I mean, I love my family and I love my kids, and that’s a part of...

Tom Brady Says He Is Partially Motivated By An 85-Year Old Sushi Chef

CBS Boston: Still, past missteps serve only as motivation for Brady, and when he takes the field in September, he’ll be wholly focused on the task at hand. That’s due mostly to Brady’s inner drive, but he said that his determination was aided by — of all things — a documentary on an 85-year-old chef’s quest to improve upon his sushi. “It smacked me in the face as a...

Kurt Warner texted Brady after the loss to the Ravens

Given what happened in the Superbowl back in 2001, you would think that Kurt Warner might have a lot of resentment for Brady. Certainly, he seemed to have some for the Patriots in some recent remarks. I guess that's not true though, as an interview with ESPN reveals a classy gesture by Warner to Brady following the Patriots loss to the Ravens in the AFC championship game. ESPN...

Tom Brady hasn’t celebrated like this since Feb. 6, 2005. The Patriots quarterback had a reason (yet unconfirmed) to be excited on Saturday evening after Orb won the Kentucky Derby. Terrell Owens Says Signing With Patriots Would Be ‘No Brainer,’ Thinks Sky Would Be Limit With Tom Brady

Terrell Owens spent some time out in Los Angeles, Calif., working out with Tom Brady earlier this offseason, and it just so happens he would be interested in playing for the Patriots. Owens caught some passes from Brady at USC in early April and, like almost any intelligent NFL player, would want to play with Brady and the Patriots full time, according to BlindsideFootball.com...

Tom Brady celebrates big win at the Derby?

So, apparently Tom Brady and co. have some sort of connection to the owners of Orb, who won the Kentucky Derby yesterday. You can see Brady and his crew of former Patriots: Dan Koppen, Tedy Bruschi and Wes Welker go nuts over the win with the owners. Apparently Brady didn't want to go down to the winner's circle though, implying he probably didn't have much invested...

Life is a going to be a bit tougher for Tom Brady this year as he adjusts to an offense not predicated on wide receiver Wes Welker. So tough, in fact, that Steelers safety Ryan Clark thinks he’ll be seeing ghosts this season. Clark answered some questions about the Patriots during an appearance on ESPN’s NFL Live on Monday afternoon, discussing Brady specifically and how he...
