MVN Giants:
Well, what do you know? You were right: He's back. In "he," yes, that would certainly most be that it is Tom Brady. In "back," why yes, you are correct again, Brady is back after his knee surgery and his playing just like he was before and going back to his All-Star caliber play. It was Brady's first regular season game since the Kansas City Chiefs game in which Brady ended his season that year. Matt Cassel is now on a new team and is not needed by New England and hopes to prove naysayers wrong as he is on the team he faced, the Chiefs. But we are not here to talk about little old Matt Cassel, let's start our story in New England.I have got to admit, for the first three quarters of the game, the Patriots were literally playing like six-month old ****. They didn't manage to really do anything. The Bills were the leaders for the first three quarters, beating New England by a touchdown 17-10. Brady was struggling here and there on his passes but he started to get in a groove with his receivers, especially Randy Moss, who had caught twelve passes for 141 yards along with Wes Welker receiving the same amount of catches, but had 93 yards. But that didn't stop the Bills, who rallied to take a two-touchdown lead after running back Fred Jackson caught a ten-yard pass from Trent Edwards for the score. 24-10, a surprising lead no one expected, especially with the Bills leading...over the New England Patriots, people! But the Pats have been through surprising upsets (Super Bowl against the G-Men). They just couldn't afford another loss. The Patriots have already received so many cheap shots, like losing in the Super Bowl to Eli Manning and the New York Giants (followed by an amazing catch by David Tyree, sorry Rodney Harrison), Patriots being known as the "Cheatriots," not making the playoffs despite an 11-5 record, Brady's injury, and Brady being accused of lying about his injury. But not this time, no more cheap shots. Brady was rallying the offense. Soon, the Pats were down 24-19 after an 18-yard touchdown pass in which Brady found Ben Watson for the score. Unfortunately, the two-point conversion failed. It didn't matter that much. It only mattered if the Bills were able to score, in which they didn't. If the Pats scored, they were automatically in the lead.At the Buffalo 31, Brady had to find a score, and quick. Right there, he found Ben Watson again, and it was a score much similar to the 18-yarder, expect it was a 16-yard touchdown to regain the lead at 25-24. "We have a real competitive locker room, a real competitive team," Brady
said. "When you're in a situation like we were, it's when you really
have to step it up. It takes every guy on the field to step it up.
Hopefully, we will continue to do that."The score stayed as is. I am a stunned just as much as you were when I witnessed this matchup. But the most stunned of all are the Bills. Hey Buffalo, Brady is back. And guess what? You've been Brady'd.
