Earlier this week New England Patriots fans got the worst news imaginable--Tom Brady had to leave practice because of a knee injury. Should anything happen to him that means the fate of the team would be in the hands of Ryan Mallett (gulp!) or Tim Tebow (double gulp!). But in typical Brady fashion he returned to practice,  proclaimed that he was fine, and said he would be playing in Friday's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. dgaproduction/Flickr And sure enough he was right. Before getting pulled he completed 11 of 12 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown, this Brady to Amendola reception (something fans hope they will see a lot more of this season): Townie News/Flickr
