Back at the Super Bowl, Tom Brady dissed Buffalo hotels. He said they're not "the nicest places in the world." Oops.

Northtown Automotive, the official automotive dealer of the Buffalo Bills, took those words to heart and has been chewing on them for the past several months. They put up a billboard asking hotels not to give him a room and shared the image you see above on Twitter.

We don't really see why they did it -- he obviously already has a room in Buffalo by this point.

Just another city that hates the Patriots! What else is new?

  • What a...much to do about nothing article!!! Must be a really slow day at YardBarker, eh?
  • And even a slower day for you to comment about it.

Come to think of it, my day must be even slower to respond to your comment.
  • tom needs a poor season, and he's off to a good start. He could stand to lose some of that arrogance, which is why "people" not "cities" tend to dislike him.
  • Jealous
  • Tom Brady isn't as arrogant as you might think... I would call it competative.
  • Northtown puts up a different billboard every week dealing with the next game. It wasnt supposed to keep him from getting a room. It was meant as a joke. Not a story
  • Right it's not a story
  • The reason noone likes TOM BRADY or THE NEW ENGLAND PATIROTS is because form ownership on down they are the classiest and best franchise in the NFL in the last 10 years...oh, and will continue to be!!!! Worse case scenario...Tom and his wife could buy one of Buffalo's "classy" hotels!!! Lets face it..when it comes to the Pats there are a lot of sour grapes out there!! Keep hating....we'll just keep on winning!!!
  • Totally agree. Spygate was the classiest cheating scandal in the league. You could always grab an official and ask him about it.
  • new season gotta start winning to keep winning
  • Wait till playoff time and then we'll talk!!!

Brady the latest to cover the Swoosh

Robert Griffin III isn't the only QB to remain brand loyal, as the Pats superstar signal-caller is also now covering up Nike's logo during public appearances as well.

Tom Brady's Doesn't Think Patriots Have Earned Better Record, Remains Focused on 'Winning'

Tom Brady isn't used to losing, and he isn't very fond of it either. After enduring a heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, the Patriots dropped to 1-2 on the season. And Brady believes that's exactly where they deserve to be. "We're 1-2, we're not in a good position right now," Brady said. "We're in the exact position...

Tom Brady covers up Nike swoosh on sweatshirt (Picture)

Robert Griffin III isn’t the only NFL quarterback concerned about protecting his sponsor. Tom Brady is in the same position. Boston Globe Patriots reporter Shalise Manza Young tweeted a picture on Wednesday of the New England QB speaking at a press conference, and she noted that Brady had a piece of tape on his left sleeve to cover up the Nike swoosh on his sweatshirt. The reason...

Fantasy Forecast: Week 4

QB Tom Brady After a few weeks of mediocre performances, I think this is the week that Brady really breaks out. The Bills defense is vulnerable to the pass, giving up 6 TDs through the air in games against the Jets, Chiefs and Browns so far this year. Expect Brady to pull out one of his “you’re going to win your fantasy game no matter what” games out of the hat...

How important is todays game for the New England Patriots?

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are in unfamiliar territory. A couple of facts: The Patriots haven’t lost three games in a row in the Belichick era since his first season as head-coach The Patriots haven’t been two games below .500 since, well, that same season. The Patriots haven’t been in last place in the division since, ****, that same season. Basically? It’s...

Tom Brady, Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson, of course these guys will be in starting lineups everywhere. Here are a few guys that could be available, or have rode your bench all season, that will help contribute this week.Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Atlanta - Given Turner's recent struggles, Rodgers has taken on a bigger role in the Falcons' explosive offense.Last week, Rodgers had...

NFL Rumors: Expect Bills To Sack Patriots QB Tom Brady Early And Often Without Logan Mankins

The New England Patriots are at their worst when Tom Brady is on the ground. The New York Giants have given the rest of the NFL the blueprint on how to beat New England by getting to Brady early and often. While that is easier said than done, the Buffalo Bills are expected to dial up the pressure against Brady on Sunday, a task made slightly easier with the fact that starting guard...

Week 4 Staff Predictions: Bills vs. Patriots

Jason: 31-21, Patriots-  A win anytime over the next 3 weeks should be treated as found money for Bills fans.  Despite flaws, Pats are 2 plays from 3-0.   They're still better than Buffalo.  Think Bills need to score on D/ST to have a shot. Fake Darcy:  6-5, Bills- 400 penalty minutes combined in this bloodbath. Chris: 37-20, Pats- I don't like this...

Communication, Call Wrong: Refs

Walt Anderson, who was one of the locked-out referees, said he would have changed the ruling to an interception. Meanwhile, a retired referee likened the use of replacements to a quarterback from a no-name school replacing Tom Brady.

NFL Week Three: Patriots @ Bills

“It’s not like we sit here in the locker room and say, ‘God, we’re terrible, we can’t make any plays, we’re not even in these games.’ We’re right in them. We just have to do a better job in certain areas. If we do that, we’ll start winning close games. If we don’t, we’ll have a miserable year. No one wants that around here.” Who better than Tom Brady to sum...

New England Patriots: Week 4 NFL Power Rankings (#5)

Last week: 3 (-2) Record: 1-2 The Patriots are under .500 for the first time since week 1 of 2003, but they’ll be fine. Over the past couple of years, they’ve started a little sluggish and then hit their stride. This week, they go to Buffalo to face an old punching bag and hope to avoid their first 3 game losing streak since 2002. They’re still the most consistent team in the...

Arizona Cardinals vs. Miami Dolphins Pick Against the Spread

MIAMI DOLPHINS @ ARIZONA CARDINALS (-6.5) The one downside to this pick is the Cardinals don’t necessarily have an offensive juggernaut and won’t light up the scoreboard against a solid Miami defense, but I’m banking on the Cardinals defense dominating the the Dolphins. The Cardinals defense is for real. I’m not overreacting their wins over the Patriots and Eagles either...
