Adding injury to insult, it’s been revealed that Tom Brady aggravated a previous injury during the Pats’ Super Bowl XLVI loss to the Giants.
CSN New England reports that Brady re-injured his left shoulder after a third quarter sack by New York’s Justin Tuck left him reeling on the turf.
Brady originally bruised the shoulder against the Dolphins in Week 16, leading some to speculate that it could affect his play going forward.
He went on to deafen those whispers, tossing six touchdowns in what may have been his finest postseason performance to date — a 45-10 drubbing of the Broncos.
Brady’s offseason will “not be impacted” by the injury, as rest and some TLC from Giselle should have the quarterback feeling better in no time.
