Found January 16, 2013 on Patriots Life:
It's been news conference day today, ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens, a day which will hopefully be known as "Ray Lewis's Last Game". And it will be the last game between Lewis and Tom Brady, a match up which has always been great. And we know Brady and Lewis respect the heck out of each other, as Brady pointed out in his presser. TB at the podium. "It's a pleasure to play against Lewis. So instinctive. You always have to know where 52 is." twitter.com/JackieBrittain… — Jackie Brittain (@JackieBrittain) January 16, 2013 Well, you do always have to know where he is. And Lewis has been playing his heart out in these last two playoff games. Brady and Lewis are two of the most competitive guys in the NFL, and I'm sure they're both trying their hardest to work out how to stop each other. However, Brady also has Terrell Suggs and Ed Reed to pay attention to, so that adds a bit o...

Boston area signs are counting down until Ray Lewis retires

We have all been planning for Ray Lewis to play in his last game for the last few weeks, maybe we should stop? People in the Boston are pretty confident that the New England Patriots will be able to do what the Broncos and Colts failed to do in previous weeks, and end the career of the Baltimore Ravens legendary linebacker. They are so confident that they are counting down the days...

Ravens' Lewis dominating as retirement looms

Ray Lewis sure doesn't look the part of an aging linebacker on the brink of retirement. After being sidelined for 12 weeks with a torn right triceps, Lewis reclaimed his post in the middle of the Baltimore defense two weeks ago and led the Ravens with 13 tackles in a 24-9 playoff win over Indianapolis. As an encore, Lewis had a team-high 17 tackles last week in a victory over...

Watch: Baltimore Hotel supplies Ray Lewis Laser Show

Ravens LB Ray Lewis is known as the ultimate hype man. He’s been a big part of the Ravens success throughout his career, and he puts on an explosive entry to each home game. He’s played his last home game as a Raven before hanging up the cleats so there won’t be another dance, but a Baltimore-area Marriott Hotel has supplied fans with a digital version of what he calls the...

New England Patriots get (mostly) high marks in divisional playoffs win

Tom Brady proved his mettle once again, becoming the NFL’s all-time postseason wins leader (Getty/ Wickerham) Three times the Patriots have hosted the Houston Texans in Foxboro.  Three times the Patriots have won big.  Final scores of 40-7 (2006), 42-14 (2012), and 41-28 (2012 playoffs) are impressive, but the latest triumph wasn’t as easy as that last margin suggests thanks...

'BRING ON BRADY'

Ravens fans make 'Call Me Maybe' parody

The nation had more than its fill of “Call Me Maybe” and “Gangnam Style” parodies in 2012, but some people aren’t ready to let the phenomenon die now that we have entered the new year. On Wednesday, a trio of Baltimore Ravens posted a video on YouTube called “Bring on Brady.” For those of you who couldn’t guess, the song centers around them calling out Tom Brady....

Into The Sunset: Ray Lewis Has A Chance To Go Out The Right Way

The image is etched into my memory.  Even after Alzheimer's sets in and I forget everything else, I will still remember it.  Confetti raining down onto the field, my Broncos back to back World Champions, and John Elway hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.  His last act as quarterback for the Denver Broncos.  Super Bowl Champion.  Super Bowl MVP.  Legend.  Hall of Famer.  In...

Tom Brady Has ‘No Idea’ Why He Does Fashion Shoots, Much Prefers to Be Patriots’ Quarterback

FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady is something of an icon, even beyond the world of sports. The problem with that icon status, however, is that it isn’t always such a good thing. During his weekly press conference leading up to Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, Brady fielded questions from the media on a variety of topics, including that of his off-field life. Brady is known for his...

I’ll make this short and sweet. The NFL playoffs have been amazing. Thanks to Barry Barnes from LockerReport.com for breaking down all four of this past weekend’s games and giving insight into the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Lewis. Ten Players To Watch Conference Championship Sunday

Patriots vs. RavensTom Brady - Brady has faced the Baltimore Ravens seven times in his career. In those seven games the Pats are 5-2.Only twice in those games though, has the difference been more than a touchdown.Brady has a knack for coming up big in big games – If New England is to win Sunday, he will have to make some adjustments considering he is missing the “Gronk”, and...

Mentally tough Patriots only look ahead

In his postgame conference yesterday, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady lauded his teams mental toughness. Here's the quote; "Yeah. I think that’s been the mark of our team. We’ve won 11 of 12. We were down 31-3 at home and battled back. I think we’re going to be in it. We have a lot of tough guys, mentally tough guys. Whatever happens, like what happened on the first...
