With New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady heading into his late-30′s owner Robert Kraft was asked if he’s concerned about his age going forward.
“I think he had a remarkable year this year and I think we look at each year as it happens,” Kraft said. “I’d love him to be here as long as he’s productive and feels he wants to play.”
Brady, who turns 36 in August, is signed through 2014. He’ll make $15 million in salary and bonuses the next two years and his cap hit is $21,800,000 each year.
So unless there’s another deal struck, Brady will be a 38-year-old free agent after the 2014 season.
Could Kraft ever conceive of seeing Brady play elsewhere?
“That’s his choice but I would surely never like to see that happen. I think what he’s done for this franchise . . . ” Kraft said, his voice trailing off.
Kraft began again, “But once again, everything is a dual decision. But I think, somehow I feel he’ll know when it’s not right for him and I believe he loves being a Patriot and w

Finally! Good news from the Super Bowl
I’m a die hard Jets fan. As a die hard Jets fan, I have learned to hate all things associated with the Patriots organization. From Belichick’s hoodies and sour disposition, to the constant media love for all things Tom Brady, you get tired hearing about anything related to New England. However Rob Gronkowski has always been a guy I kind of liked: he’s a goof, genially a nice...
Robert Kraft Hopeful on Wes Welker Deal as Long as Agents ‘Don’t Mess It Up’
Perhaps the biggest question the Patriots will face this offseason is whether or not they decide to resign Wes Welker.
To owner Robert Kraft, it may not be completely up to New England, though. Kraft said he wants the star slot receiver back, but there could be other elements that prevent a deal from getting done.
“I’d love him to be around, he’s a great guy,” Kraft told...

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft mentioned that he would like to have wide receiver Wes Welker back next season.
“I’d love him to be around,” Kraft said, per Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. “Like I’ve said all along, it takes two sides to make a transaction…I think Wes wants to be with us, and we want him here. It’s just a matter of whether both sides can be...

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft told CSNNE.com that the key to re-signing wide receiver Wes Welker is to be able to manage the agents and lawyers that are involved so they don’t mess it up.

If Welker wants to remain with the...

Robert Kraft says Wes Welker's agents might screw things up
I think every Patriots fan who's of the right mind believes that the Patriots have to try and sign Wes Welker. He's really the most reliable receiving option the Patriots have. Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Julian Edelman have dealt with injuries in their young seasons and Brandon Lloyd is Brandon Lloyd.
Wes Welker has been the go to guy to get you a first down, time...
Patriots Haven't Talked Contract With WR Wes Welker
Patriots owner Robert Kraft would like to keep employing Wes Welker. There seems to be little question that the feeling is reciprocated by the slot receiver. Sentiment, however, doesn't pay the bills, and that's where things get complicated. Kraft noted again yesterday that both sides need to come together to arrange a deal. Of course, the Patriots could use the power move...
