New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has ruled out wide receiver Hakeem Nicks for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Wide receiver Ramses Barden still hasn’t been cleared after suffering a concussion this past Sunday. It looks like the Giants’ top three receivers this week will be Victor Cruz, Domenik Hixon and Reuben Randle. Cornerback Corey Webster also has a hamstring injury, aside from his broken hand.

Browns bring back bad memory for Coughlin

The last time the New York Giants faced the Cleveland Browns in a regular season game was on Monday, October 13, 2008, on the road, in a game that many anticipated the then undefeated Giants would dominate their 1-3 opponent. New York Giants dominated by injuries: More from an afternoon tea with Tom Coughlin

An unhappy Tom Coughlin took the podium on Wednesday afternoon for his weekly press conference, and his message was clear: "2-2 is 2-2 and not where we hoped to be. But it's done. It's over.
