New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin told the media today they have to win their final four regular season games if they plan on making the playoffs. Coughlin: “We have to win literally every one of our games.” #NYG — Art Stapleton (@art_stapleton) December 4, 2012 Coughlin is right.  With the Giants sitting at 2-3 in the NFC East, winning the rest of their games will get them in no matter what.  Now we’ll have to see if they can turn things on when they matter the most.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Glum Giants plot strong stretch run after loss

Despite having a one-game lead in the NFC East with four to go, the New York Giants may need to win out to make the playoffs A frustrated Tom Coughlin made that assessment on Tuesday, knowing that the Giants' 17-16 loss to the Washington Redskins Monday did more than cut their division lead in half. The defeat left them at a surprising 2-3 in the NFC East with one division...

Giants T Sean Locklear suffers nasty leg injury

Sean Locklear is a nine-year NFL veteran. Hopefully his career didn’t end last night against the Redskins after this play late in the 4th quarter. Giants lineman Chris Snee knows the situation with Locklear’s knee doesn’t look good and said so after the team’s loss. “Whatever recovery is ahead of him, I am not quite sure the extent of it, just know it is not good,” he...

Former prank target now a Giants star

When he enters the cold tub now at New York Giants headquarters, Prince Amukamara does so voluntarily. Amukamara's reputation took a bath this summer when a video of the second-year cornerback being roughly dumped in the icy water by Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was posted by another teammate (punter Steve Weatherford) on the Internet. As he was being carried toward...

DB Rolle, Giants ready to show some more fight

Antrel Rolle wants to see a little more of the dog from the New York Giants, and not just the defense. This dog isn't a blitz though. The veteran safety who is the sparkplug on that side of the ball said Wednesday that the Giants (7-5) need to start showing the tenacity of one of those nasty dogs who is not out to make any friends if it wants to get back to the playoffs. The...

Giants' Locklear out for season with knee injury

New York Giants right tackle Sean Locklear will miss the rest of season with a right-knee injury suffered during Monday's loss to the Washington Redskins, according to a USA Today report. Locklear is believed to have a torn ACL, and perhaps something more severe, USA Today reported, though Giants head coach Tom Coughlin only called it a "severe knee sprain." David...

Giants fans brawl with Redskins fans

After watching this video, it looks like a couple of Giants fans took it upon themselves to beat up a bunch of Redskins fans.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text...

The NFC East is full of passionate players, fans and rivalries and the Washington Redskins- New York Giants rivalry is no different. Redskins beat Giants 17-16, NYG are 7-5 on the season

The Washington Redskins (6-6) beat the New York Giants 17-16, this Monday night at FedEx Field from Landover, MD.
