Found December 03, 2011 on The Jets Blog:
Tight end Dustin Keller is having a career year. The favorite target of quarterback Mark Sanchez, Keller is the Jets’ top receiver, both in overall yardage (574) and in yards per game (52.2). And with five games left to play, it seems almost certain that Keller will top his previous career-high total of 687 yards, set in 2010. According to Metro, much of Keller’s success could be attributed to the role Tom Moore has played as offensive consultant this year. Moore’s brought his “tight-end friendly” perspective to the team, and it has shown in practice and in games: “Normally when you’re coaching up on your guys, things you talk about is route depth, where your quarterback expects you to be. He kind of will go more into detail in how you want to set your defender up, if he’s doing this, you want to recognize it, how you want to set it up to break this out,” Keller told Metro. “He’s been great with that as far as the small things that it takes a long time for a receiver to develop.”

Redskins Shouldn't Regret Missing Out on Sanchez

When the Redskins take the field to play the Jets on Sunday at FedEx Field, it won’t be the first time they’ve encountered New York’s franchise quarterback Mark Sanchez. The Redskins were linked to the USC quarterback in the weeks before the 2009 NFL draft and it appeared they were set to make a strong push for his services. However, Washington didn’t trade up and Sanchez...

Sanchez, Jets come back again, top Redskins 34-19

In his own colorful way, Rex Ryan expressed his latest thoughts on the New York Jets' playoff chances. ''We know where we think we're going,'' he said. ''More confident than 100 percent? I don't know about that.'' No matter what he thinks or knows or doesn't know, and regardless of what sort of math is used, Ryan naturally has to...

DeAngelo Hall Pulled An Albert Hayneworth Against The Jets

Leading up to yesterday’s Jets-Redskins game DeAngelo Hall called Mark Sanchez a “middle-of-the-pack” quarterback. DeAngelo should know, given the signal callers he has shared a roster with in Washington. What Hall didn’t comment on, however, was Sanchez’ fearsome blocking ability, which was on display during Shonn Green’s fourth-quarter TD run. Click the image to watch...

More Fourth Quarter Fireworks In Jets Victory

Would you rather watch a snuff film or watch Mark Sanchez run the Jets offense?  For most of Sunday, the question wasn't a particularly ridiculous one. The Jets offense alternated between committing stupid penalties, taking useless timeouts, missing open receivers and running a limp Wildcat before Sanchez finally connected with Santonio Holmes for a 30-yard touchdown with just...

5 Jets Who Will Determine Outcome of Final 5 Games

There are times when it feels like everything having to do with the Jets revolves around Mark Sanchez. Quarterbacks have been given a place of priority in the NFL, mostly because the state of the game right now demands a crisp passing attack if you harbor any hopes of contending for a championship. Crisp doesn't usually describe Sanchez's play all that well, which leaves...
