Ebony Bird:
When asked if his Steelers would win the AFC North again, head coach Mike Tomlin said no. He picked the classiest team in the land, the Baltimore Ravens as the division champs.
“You have to like Baltimore,” Tomlin said when asked for a prediction yesterday. “They won 11 games last year with a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback. They have a good football team. They have a great defense, they have a quarterback who proved he’s their quarterback of the future, he’s a guy on the rise. You have to respect that.”
Whether this means that Tomlin is trying to use some pyschology form to prevent the Ravens from winning or whether he knows that his team gets lucky alot, Tomlin has proved himself to me a smart man, although it didn’t need proving in the first place. He is the dream coach of every NFL team, and is for a reason.
