The latter half of the season has been good to the Carolina Panthers.

After a disastrous start, they have gone on a 4-2 run that has included a decisive win over the Atlanta Falcons.

With good fortune comes smiles from Hollywood Cam Newton.

Two incidents marred Newton’s day on Sunday.

Oakland’s Tommy Kelly admitted that he and the Raiders were targeting Newton after Raiders’ quarterback Carson Palmer was taken out of the game.
