Found April 05, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
PLAYERS: Tony Gonzalez
TEAMS: Atlanta Falcons
Tony Gonzalez joined Pro Football Talk Live on Friday and mentioned that he’s “100 percent” certain this will be his final season in the NFL. Gonzalez maintained that he was “95 percent” certain that 2012 would be his last season in the league, but that proved to not be the case. Some have speculated that a lack of opportunity in television may have had an impact on his decision to return, but the Falcons made it clear that they wanted him back from the second their season ended. Gonzalez added that he’s “a little tempted” to attempt to surpass Jerry Rice as the league’s all-time leader in receptions, but with 307 still to go it seems doubtful that he’ll be able to make a serious run at it. I’m sure there will be the same amount of buzz surrounding a possible return next season as there has been in recent years.

Does Jay Glazer training Brian Banks present an ethical conflict?

One of the oft-repeated sayings in journalism is "Don't become the story." At first glance, well-respected Fox NFL reporter Jay Glazer's involvement with training Brian Banks (the once-hot USC linebacker prospect who was released from jail last year after serving five years for a crime he didn't commit) would seem to violate that doctrine. Glazer covers the...
