Tony Romo lasted just four plays against the Eagles Saturday before exiting the game with a hand injury. Romo’s hand hit Jason Babin’s helmet and ended up swollen like a bop it toy. The X-rays were negative, and Romo apparently was trying to talk his way back into the game, but the team held him out since the game was meaningless. They’re traveling to face the Giants Week 17 for the division Sunday. “I’ll be fine,” said Romo. “I think I just took a hit to the helmet. We’re going to be all right, though. I think it’s just going to be a few days, do all the stuff [in rehab], but I’ll be good to go next week.” Romo may be saying he’s fine, but his hand looks like Ishmael’s after getting into a fight with Big Ern. And we all know that hand injury kept Ish out of competition. I’m just saying, with his hand as bad as it looks, I can’t imagine him being able to throw like normal next week. Real test awaits Romo's healing hand

IRVING, Texas There seems to be no doubt Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will play with a bruised throwing hand in Sunday's winner-take-all game against the Giants. The only question is how effective he will be. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the swelling in Romo's right hand had gone down Monday, but the proof will come when Romo returns to practice Wednesday. "...

Tony Romo Hurts Throwing Hand, Cowboys Fall To Eagles

In a very boring game, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys 20-7.   With no playoff ramifications on the line, the Cowboys played it safe and looked to next week.  Quarterback Tony Romo suffered a hand contusion on the first series of the game, and did not return.  Michael Vick threw for two touchdowns and led Philadelphia to a bittersweet victory.  As nice as it...

Jerry Jones: Romo will be ready for Giants

According to Jerry Jones, Tony Romo should be ready to go Sunday night when the Cowboys face the Giants with the NFC East title on the line.

Jones Should Stay Off the Sideline

We should all be thankful to Jerry Jones for inserting himself into the middle of Saturday's loss to the Eagles. If it wasn't for Jones' trip to the sideline for an animated discussion with Jason Garrett after Tony Romo's injury, the game wouldn't have produced a single compelling talking point. Thanks to the Giants' win in New Jersey, it was an anticlimactic...

An Open Letter to Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones: Let Go

Many things have changed in the sixteen years since the Dallas Cowboys last won a Super Bowl. In those sixteen years the franchise has seen five head coaching changes and an innumerable amount of player personnel changes. Specifically, the quarterback position, which has been occupied by five separate “franchise” quarterbacks. The defense has been overhauled multiple times. Some...
