5. Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders
The Raiders were a top team to beat for years, they have a regular season record of 426-351-11 and they looked good last year until Jason Campbell went down; and much respect to the late Al Davis. Davis was probably one of the most inspiring owners in NFL history, and it all started with one simple "Just Win, Baby," and from then on, they were a dynasty. The Oakland Raiders have only won 2 Super Bowls, however the Los Angeles Raiders have won one. The Raiders have the most die-hard fans in the NFL in my opinion and I don't think it's ever changing. There is one team you will always remember - the Raiders - and one person you will never forget is Al Davis.
3. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are not "America's Team" like some think, but indeed they used to be pretty dang good. Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman were all involved in one of the first official dynasties, Along with the nasty Cowboys' defense, th...

The current composition of the Oakland Raiders offensive coaching staff coupled with recent announcements by offensive coordinator Greg Knapp; make it apparent a Zone blocking system will be implemented as the primary running scheme. According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Oakland Raiders will cut linebacker Kamerion Wimbley if he doesn’t restructure his contract.
Wimbley is scheduled to make $11 million in 2012 with $6.5 million guaranteed.
In order to get under the salary cap, the Raiders need to avoid paying a chunk of his salary by having him redo his contract, or they’ll be forced to release...
The Oakland Raiders have placed the franchise tag on safety Tyvon Branch to keep him off the open market in free agency.
General manager Reggie McKenzie announced the decision on Thursday, saying he hoped the team could work out a long-term deal with Branch before next season. The franchise tag number for safeties is expected to be about $6.2 million next season.
Branch, a fourth...
Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer said on Wednesday that he’s “happy” to return to the Raiders and that they’re close to becoming a “championship” team.
Some people believe the Raiders are in a slight rebuilding mode this coming season, but Palmer doesn’t see it that way.
“As far as being close to a playoff team, it’s more than that,” Palmer said per the...
NFL.com's Jason La Canfora has reported that a source has told him that if Raiders' LB Kamerion Wimbley does not agree to restructure his deal, the team will cut him before the start of the season. The team would still owe Wimbley $6.5 million guaranteed but would save the remaining $4.5 million in his salary this season in addition to avoiding a trigger in his deal that...
The Oakland Raiders begin March with the same flair for change that carried the month of February in 2012. Reports from the start of March indicate that the Raiders will franchise tag Tyvon Branch. The fourth round pick of the 2008 NFL draft has become a staple to the Raiders and negotiations will not break [...]
The Oakland Raiders and Kamerion Wimbley have a very curious history behind them. After the 2010 season, the Raiders were pretty impressed with Wimbley’s play. After all, he did lead the team in sacks with 9 (one of Al Davis’ favorite stats). You add his 58 tackles (46 solo) and you have a solid player [...]
Ah, yes. Sebastian Janikowski is a true Raider. Nasty and dirty and he’s just our kicker. Got to love him. Janikowski just looks like a head case. Janikowski, 33, must perform 30 hours each of anger management and substance abuse classes, as well as 30 hours of community service. He must also stay away from [...]
The Raiders have used their franchise tag on Tyvon Branch, a great move for the Raiders. Tyvon is an extremely underrated player, playing in an undervalued position at safety. Teams avoided Tyvon last year like the plague and can’t say I blame them. Why wouldn’t avoid Branch, when you can just throw at Routt and [...]
As the Raiders try to reduce dramatically cap a commitment that currently exceeds $145 million, the cross hairs initially have landed on linebacker Kamerion Wimbley. He’s due to receivea base salary of $11 million in 2012, $11 million in 2013, $10 million in 2014, and $11.5 million in 2015. But here’s the bigger problem, more…

A few weeks ago Nike released concept NFL uniforms that took the internet by storm. Were they fake, were they real? Some of designs were a little out there, but many of them would be a welcome change.
Now, a photographer out of Missouri, Charles Sollars developed some concept helmets like the one above.
“The designs are just my own ideas for something...
We passed along a report two weeks ago that Kamerion Wimbley would not be interested in taking a pay cut to stay with the Raiders. We now pass along a report from NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora that the Raiders will cut Wimbley unless he takes a pay cut. Using the transitive property, Wimbley is…
We haven’t heard much from Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer after the Raiders shook up their front office and coaching staff, but he broke his silence in a radio interview on Wednesday. Palmer, who came to Oakland in a trade engineered by former head coach Hue Jackson, said that he was “happy” to return to the…
